Right by the Biancolino River in the old village of Pontemanco in Due Carrare we have rebuilt a house on the river to offer our guests a unique place surrounded by silence and an old atmosphere from the good old days.
The house is part of an old mill set near Padua and just 40-minutes away from Venice by train or car. It has been rebuilt for you to enjoy a lovely and restful stay in the middle of an old and quiet village.
The large terrace on the roof will make your holiday enjoyable.

The space
On the first floor there are two double rooms and a bathroom. From the first floor the staircase leads to a charming kitchen in the tower which opens onto a huge roof terrace, you'll admire the surrounding landscape or have a romantic dinner in front of the slow flowing river. You can relax close to the fireplace in the winter season or on the terrace in the summer to admire the river and the sunset on the Euganean Hills. The kitchen is fully equipped, we also provide guests with wi-fi access, air conditioning, television, a jacuzzi, a washing machine and dryer.

Other things to note
You can have a rest inside the house, participate in a Yoga class, walk or run along the river, cycle through the paths that lead either to the sea or to the Euganean Hills. Are you tired after travelling or exploring sights? We also provide different kind of massages (shiatsu, ayurveda, relaxing) in cooperation with a Spa, or if you prefer you can have your massage directly in your room.
If you prefer a break from cooking, just across the bridge there is a charming restaurant where guests can enjoy a glass of wine, cold appetizers and cheese or choose a pasta dish.
We would like to remind you that our house has been restored with eco friendly materials because we respect our beautiful and unique environment. Also, we are happy to welcome our guests with a basket full or organic delicacies.

My work: Real Estate Agent
Speaks English and Italian
When I began thinking of creating a Guesthouse, my mind flew away through my past travels, the people I met, those who made me feel at home. Hence, the idea to offer a place for everybody who, for pleasure or business, passes throughout this area. A place to stay where they can feel at home in a small, old village where time seems to have stopped and where the flavours of the past prevail over the frenetic atmosphere of today.

If I'm able to share with everybody who visit some of my emotions, giving them a fresh, rich breakfast in the morning, relaxing walks around an amazing, uncontaminated environment and pleasant silences at sunset. We are sure your stay will remain a lovely memory for you.

The Guesthouse is not meant to only be a place where you can merely sleep, but it is thought as an open flat to meet people, celebrate traditional events, and discover local festivals in the area. Everybody who needs a spaceto meet people is welcome in my Guesthouse. I work as an independant real estate agent but most of all I love running, travelling, and meeting new people from around the world. I live next door so I can help you whenever you need to suggest places, trips, restaurants and more. Welcome to my house!
