There is so much to like about Fairlight . It is quiet but not isolated, there are amenities in the village itself like a post office/shop (5 minutes walk from the Guesthouse) a pub, (2 minutes walk), hairdresser, (2 minutes walk) a friendly and well stocked farm shop (5 minutes drive or less) and cliff top walks(300 yards) where there is a great little cafe, woods etc.
The best thing is that it is so well situated to get anywhere for activities, walking, birdwatching, beaches, castles and other interesting places to visit, pubs, cafes, restaurants, a plethora of little galleries and the renowned Jerwood Gallery. Painting, sketching and photographic opportunities abound, festivals from seafood and other foodie events, art, music and literary festivals and not forgetting the infamous Pirate Day and Jack on The Green Day,
There are opportunities for cycling, riding, fishing and water based activities too.
Yes bus stops a couple of minutes away. You can easily get to Hastings, Winchelea Beach, Rye etc. Mainline train stations in Hastings, Ore, Rye, Winchelea and then a quick taxi ride.

Hi, I'm Desi! I live in the beautiful village of Fairlight which is nestled between Rye and Hastings on the South Coast. I'm an established photographer and spend time on portrait commissions and mentoring professional, semi professional and amateur photographers. I'm an avid cinema and theatre fan with a love of the arts, also Indian and French food!
Although I've travelled and lived around the world, I'm so happy to be in Fairlight and so near to Fairlight Cove. I always look forward to giving my guests a warm welcome to my Rooms in Sussex and giving people an insight to this stunning part of the world.
