About this listing

PLEASE NOTE cheap this week due to plastering the living room. This is a lived in house; my partner, Luke and I plus our 2 cats live in the house. We offer a private bedroom and shared bathroom and kitchen. I am happy to help with tips of what to do in Bristol and direct you to the local shops and pubs. We are close to the vibrant St Mark's Road area of Easton and 2 miles from the city centre. Couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers welcome.

The space

We have a leafy, sunny garden and when the sun is no longer available there is the Greenbank cemetery at the end of the road to catch the last rays. The cycle path is at the other end of the road so easy access to town without having to go on any roads.

Interaction with guests

We are happy to provide information about Bristol and if it works out might even be up for a pint in the local Greenbank pub!

The neighbourhood

Easton/Greenbank is a lovely, artistic and friendly neighborhood with nice restaurants, organic veg shops, an artisan bakery, pubs and the famous Sweetmart. Stapleton road is also nearby with wonderful Asian shops and restaurants.

Getting around

Regular buses run into town from close by, Stapleton Road train station is 7 minutes walk and the cycle path goes from the end of our road so you can cycle into town without going on any roads in 10 minutes. A taxi to town is around £8 however the local area is great for going out for dinner and seeing art etc.

Other things to note

This is our house that we live in so it might not always be immaculate (as much as we try!). If you want a hotel, this isn't the place for you. If you want a homely stay with some cats to cuddle and friendly hosts then please feel welcome.

Great host but the house is still under construction. It should be perfect when finished.

The place was redecorated so we didn't get the room pictured. The house would be quite nice, the futon is quite hard though. It was rather cold in the room and bathroom, as the heating wasn't on.

Sorry it wasn't as pictured, I have got a note on the advert at the moment saying the place is being redecorated so things are not as they were!

Unfortunately our hosts were away for the weekend, but the location was easy to find and instructions to get in were clear and easy to follow. Very comfortable house with a variety of cool pieces of decoration and old books giving the place a homely feel.
