Enjoy 2.5 acres of privacy! You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space and activities. My place is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). Pet Friendly too - up to 25 lbs. Enjoy the oversized fire pit, horseshoe are set up and ready for you. Fireplace upstairs and downstairs. 2 king beds, 2 futons, bar and pool table in the basement. Gorgeous property! Basement level with full bath and pool table. Gas grill too!
Such a beautiful setting from the time you drive up the driveway. Beautifully wooded on each side, then you enter the park like setting of the cabin. Open areas for kids to play. Extra large fire pit for those fun evening of storytelling. The cabin is adorable, rustic and yet completely accommodating. Main floor has living room with rock wall fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, fully equipped kitchen, full bedroom with king size bed and full bathroom with claw foot tub! Upstairs has a loft bedroom with king bed, jetted corner tub. Basement level is where the fun happens. Two futons for additional sleeping, full bar area, full bathroom, washer and dryer and another fireplace! Large TV in basement. Hot tub on patio just outside basement area.
This is a wonderful escape for a couple or a family. Just 6 miles to downtown Helen and 3 miles to Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls, plenty of fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, etc.
Aunt B's cabin, you will have full access to the cabin and property. There is approximately 2 1/2 acres with this property.
You will have 2 1/2 acres of complete privacy.
You really should have your own transportation in this area. Taxi service is available, but you will not find UBER in this area.

Noise ordinance - even though you can't see them, there are neighbors nearby. If noise is excessive and the police are called, you will be required to leave with no refund.
When you arrive, you will find a book on the table that will tell you everything you need to know about the home. Please familiarize yourself with this material as it will guide you through check out procedures as well.
Minimum Age Requirement: You must be 21 years or older to reserve this property. Identification will be required.
Accommodations: This home will sleep 8.
WIFI: This home has free WIFI as an amenity. However, as a public utility, we cannot guarantee connectivity and no refunds will be issued for lack of service. We will make every effort to make sure that service is restored during your stay. We will also keep you completely informed of our progress.
Fireplaces: This home has 2 wood burning fireplaces. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased just about a mile down the street at Tanglewood Cabins off Hwy. 356. It is sold in bundles and is easy to transport.
Grill: There is a gas grill on the side porch. We provide a backup tank within close proximity in case you run out. If you switch the tanks, please let us know so we can replace the empty canister on the next visit.
Pets: Although this is a pet friendly cabin, a signed pet addendum and paid pet fee is required. If you opt to bring your pet and not notify us, then you may be asked to vacate the premises early or provide the signed pet addendum and pet fee. Certain cleaning items are required after a pet visit. Please be mindful of guest coming in behind you.
Fire Pit: There is a rather large fire pit in the backyard. We do recommend that you purchase treated firewood to burn in the pit. Broken branches can be used for kindling, but you may consider buying ‘Fat Lighter’ wood as well to help ignite your fires. Read instructions posted in the instruction manual inside of the home for building a safe fire.

Festivals and special events include a hot air balloon race, Winefest, Volksmarch, Oktoberfest and Christmas parades, Fourth of July fireworks, and Bavarian Nights of Summer. From mid-September through October, Helen hosts the longest Oktoberfest in the South. Alpenfest offers entertainment during the Holiday season from Thanksgiving through December.
