I was born and raised in Jabalpur and have always lived in a joint family. While growing up, having guests and visitors at home almost every day was absolutely normal. You can literally say the Tea kettle came off the gas stove only when everyone was off to sleep!! My family loved having people over and somewhere that is still instilled in me.
