Situated on a quiet lane but has very close proximity to the town. The description and photos are extremely accurate and host was extremely helpful. The cottage was perfect for our needs and we would highly recommend it. I'm sure we will be back!

Sally was waiting to greet us and she was very friendly and easy to chat to. Her lovely cottage was exactly as described and we found it to be spotlessly clean and comfortable to live in for the week that we stayed there. It is perfectly located for all local amenities and to explore the glorious Yorkshire area. We hope very much to return. Thank you Sally.

Our hostess Sally was very helpful and welcoming and left the fridge stocked with milk, bread, eggs etc for our breakfast. The cottage is very well located in the pretty little town of Pickering and was ideal for our needs. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable.. We really enjoyed our stay

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Sally's cottage. The pictures don't do it justice, it's really cosy, clean and well presented. Sally was extremely helpful throughout, meeting us on arrival, leaving us essential groceries and contactable during our stay for any queries. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking your own meals and towels and bed linen are provided. The town centre is only a short walk across the road as is a lovely Indian restaurant and the NYMR station. We hope to return and thank Sally for her hospitality.

We had a fantastic time at Sally cottage. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable and cosy -- just right for us. We loved the traditional wooden beams and the olde world atmosphere. It is also extremely well-situated, two minutes from the main street, and very close to shops (including coffee shops) with two supermarkets within easy walking distance. Parking was easy, so we could leave the car behind while we went off to explore Pickering. Sally was extremely friendly and welcoming, gave us a good tour of the house, offered lots of advice, and surprised us with a supply of bagels to enjoy for breakfast. We certainly hope to return here at some point in the future.
