This charming room with en suite bathroom is part of a completely renovated 1916 schoolhouse that was moved to its current location 50 years ago. It is conveniently located to the University of Arkansas campus, Dickson Street, the Fayetteville Square, the Razorback Greenway trails, and public transit. It is also near I-49, Crystal Bridges, Beaver Lake, Eureka Springs, the Buffalo River, the Amazeum, and so much more.

There is safe, flat concrete pad for motorcycles during BBB.

The space

The Old Schoolhouse En Suite Room amenities include: access to a fully-equipped kitchen; a living room/hearth room; the sun porch/dining room; a washer/dryer; and a large deck overlooking the tree-lined back yard and BBQ grill. If needed, a very comfortable Serta inflatable twin bed can be added to the room.

Guest access

En Suite Room Guests enter the vestibule, via coded entry, and the room is through the living room and down the hallway to the last door on the right. Normally, I or someone else will greet you on check in to help you get settled. If that is not possible, the key will be in the door to your room. Parking is available on the property. Guests have access to the common areas of the house and the grounds, including a grill and the fire pit (see me to start a fire).

Interaction with guests

I live in the Old Schoolhouse and grew up in Fayetteville and am familiar with all that is Northwest Arkansas. I am happy to answer questions or make recommendations about what to see/do during your visit to Fayetteville. There is lots of information in the the Old Schoolhouse Manual, too.

I will send you a 4-digit code to enter the Old Schoolhouse front door and your room key will be on the doorknob to the room (last door on the right).

Other things to note

The Old Schoolhouse has two driveways available for parking. The free Razorback Transit bus stop is a block away. I have several bicycles available for use on a first come, first served basis. People come from all over the United States to ride on Northwest Arkansas's famous natural and paved trails.

The Old Schoolhouse has high-speed Internet (50Mb). The 32" Internet-based TV has many user-friendly applications, including Netflix.

There may be other guests staying in the house. I have an Airbnb apartment upstairs and two other Airbnb rooms downstairs. There are video cameras around the perimeter of the house.

I had a great stay at Brady's. Brady was very welcoming at check-in. The room is very comfortable with a private bathroom. I appreciated the little things, like the water bottles, juice and breakfast food items available in the kitchen. Brady is definitely a professional when it comes to making guests feel welcome and safe. I left my eye-glasses there when I left, and within a few hours, Brady had let me know so I could swing back by before I left town. I would definitely stay here again.

The Old Schoolhouse was perfect- my girfriend and I were in Fayetteville for one day after camping for two nights and really just need a clean, centrally located and easy place to stay for a night while we explored Fayetteville. Checking in and out were both smooth. We didn't meet Brady in person, as we checked in late in the day and were out exploring for most of our time there, but he was easy to reach via text message, communicated clearly about the details of our stay, and was very friendly. It was great!

Brady User ProfileBrady is a superhost.

I'm a University of Arkansas grad who grew up in Fayetteville. After three years in the corporate world (poultry manager then logistics broker), I decided to be an entrepreneur and start my own "complete services" company. Yes, you need it done, we can do it. Though Fayetteville is my always home, I've backpacked across Europe, lived in Sweden, and, recently, hiked in the Colorado Rockies--in a snow storm. I love anything outdoors, on my motorcycle or bikes, in my kayak, hiking the trails, going off road, fishing/hunting, camping, tennis, you get the idea. Oh, and I love to cook.

I know Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas well and am happy to help in any way to make your stay special, perhaps even an experience to remember.
