Our beautiful, hand made, warm, cosy yurt is situated in our farmhouse garden. Easily accessible by public transport, it's in a rural setting but close to the village of The Bridge of Earn. A welcome basket of essentials is provided on arrival. Ideally situated for families and friends wishing to explore Perthshire, Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Cairngorm mountains. The woodburning stove keeps the yurt very warm. A quirky outdoor kitchen with stove, bbq and pizza oven is provided for your use.
The space
The yurt is a beautiful, unique space in which you can relax and unwind. It is suitable for families and friends who enjoy spending time together. There are three futon beds and bedding and towels are provided. There is a wood burning stove with a basket of logs which keeps the yurt warm and toasty even in the depths of winter, there is electricity and tea and coffee making facilities. There are games, books, magazines, and arts and crafts materials. There is a shower and composting toilet directly behind the yurt, this might be shared with a maximum of 2 other guests, from The Haven. You have access to our large garden where there is a quirky outdoor kitchen with stove, bbq and pizza oven enabling you to be able to self-cater.
Guest access
Guests have access to the yurt from the front of the garden. There is a regular bus service to Perth, Edinburgh city centre, Edinburgh airport and Dundee, if you are travelling without a car. The toilet and shower unit is exclusively for yurt and Haven guests and is situated just behind the yurt. There is plenty of parking space here too. There a bbq, pizza oven and outdoor kitchen exclusively for guests.
Other things to note
A breakfast basket is provided on arrival. A picnic can be ordered for £8.50 per person, please book a day ahead. I also have a small flowers and gifts shop where I sell flowers, cards, candles some prints, jewellery and ceramics made by my friend in Lisbon, guests received a 10% discount in my shop.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please keep your dog on a leash as we also have a dog and there are sheep in the neighbouring field.
As we are in a rural location, the WiFi is not as fast or as reliable as on the city.
The first two log baskets are free, after that it is £7.50 per basket of logs.

The yurt has everything you need to cater for yourselves, however if you don’t fancy cooking we offer a variety of homemade, takeaway meal choices for you to enjoy either outside in the garden, or in the yurt. If you would like to order anything from the options below, please let me know the day before so that I can prepare everything for you!

The yurt picnic (a perfect light meal for when you arrive or to takeaway!) includes:
