Kim is gait host and everything was fine! I came from long trip; she met me and showed everything in the apartment. The welcome drink and snack was very desirable at that time! She is very hospitable and gives recommendations on best routs for sightseeing. She lifted me to town Centre (it was on her route). The room is very cozy and it gets everything you need to live, the apartment is equipped with everything for good and comfortable living not for one person, but for a family. The house is situated in very quiet neighborhood but 15 minutes’ walk from groceries, drug store, restaurants and cafes. Bus stop is 2 minutes’ walk. Very nice place to stay for travelers, students of colleges and families and very nice host!

Host is easy to talk with, very approachable and understanding of any requests that was made. Eg. asked for can opener, extra pillow sheet, more plates, glasses and dish washing tray and it was provided. The kitchen has everything I needed. The room had everything that I needed for my stay. The rooms in the basement are located from the opposite ends of each other which is very nice in terms of privacy. The backyard is also a very nice place to just hangout and relax.

Kim was a very good host and enjoyed my stay at hers. She was friendly and considerate and was kin to attend to personal requests. The room was dated but cozy and clean and you can really appreciate the welcome basket and clean towels after a long trip. The only downside was that the room did not have a proper door but a curtain which can leave you at the discretion of the next door occupant when it comes to noise, privacy and valuable safety. On the other hand, the next door room (which we didn't know at the time of the booking) is a fantastic, large, modern room so if you can get that it's a no brainer! Overall it was a nice stay,Kim is super nice and it was great value for money.

Response from Kim:
Thanks for the thorough review, Jonathan. It is always great to see what people think and have the ability to make changes :) I am not sure what= you mean by there being no screen as all windows have screens on them. I am glad you mentioned the curtain, I am in the process of installing a heater in that room and didn't want the room to have no ability to be warm in the winter, so I haven't put the door on yet so it won't get too cold :) I will have that on soon. There is a safe in the room though, so no one needs to worry about their belonging :) Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Toronto :)

Hi!
I can't live without travel, boardgames, taco night and a warm summer day on the dock at the cottage with friends listening to some chill tunes.
I like to travel and meet people and think hostels are great, though maybe a little loud.
My life motto is to be inspiring.
