This well-maintained, 600-sq.ft. private apartment is attached to our home and thoughtfully designed for your traveling comfort & convenience. Enjoy a historic exterior with a wrap around porch and a modern interior with an open floor plan, lots of natural light & cross ventilation, modern furniture, high-speed Wifi, cable TV and lots of amenities.
On the first floor, you’ll find a comfortable living area with a very comfortable sleeper sofa (yes, there is such a thing!) and a writing desk & chair. There is also a full kitchen, breakfast bar, refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, cooking utensils, dishes, glassware, and dish soap. Drip coffeemaker and French press provided along with ground Starbucks coffee, organic teas, sugar, and sweetener.
The second floor contains a master bedroom suite with a firm queen bed, a 40" smart TV with cable, an ample closet, and dresser. High-speed Internet is plenty fast for streaming on your devices. Bathroom has a shower but no tub and contains a washer/dryer. Bathroom provisions include quality towels, bath soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and laundry detergent. Premium quality sheets, blankets & pillows supplied for both beds.
The outdoor space includes a covered porch with lounge chairs. Ample free street parking is available right out front. There is space to store bicycles inside or outside the apt.

THE FULL-DISCLOSURE DEPARTMENT
Please read the following BEFORE you request a reservation!
1. The apt. has two floors so be sure you can climb a flight of stairs.
2. There is one bathroom located in the master suite on the 2nd floor. Anyone using the living room’s sleeper-sofa must walk through the master bedroom to access the bathroom.
3. Our street occupies one of the most beautiful parcels of real estate in Burlington. It’s a very safe neighborhood that reflects Burlington’s wonderful diversity. You’ll see everyone from retirees to artists to immigrant families, so you should be comfortable with this mixture of lifestyles.
4. Guests use street parking which is close and readily available. Guests use the driveway to load/unload luggage. In winter, during weather emergencies, guests park in the driveway.
This is a private residence with it's own entrance but it is attached to our house. Guests have full access to the apt and the front porch which faces East. The backyard (which faces West) is reserved for the owners.
Interaction with guests
I'm at home 90% of the time and will be happy to assist you in any way that I can. I'm also comfortable with guests that simply want a place to stay without any interaction. Official check-in time starts at 3pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. Late night check-in if fine. I am flexible on arrival and departure times so let me know if special circumstances prevail.
Other things to note
I have a friendly indoor/outdoor cat named Clyde. He is not allowed in the apartment but during the warmer seasons, he can found lounging on the porch.
No candles. No smoking inside the apt. Smoking is ok on the porch. No parties. A small gathering of friends and family is allowed. Guests use street parking but can use the driveway for loading/ unloading baggage. Guests have full access to the East side (street side) of the house, the owners back yard (West side) is private.
