At Your Paradise Destination, There Truly is Something for Everyone
Your Paradise Destination and the common areas in the community are all available to every guest. The common area includes several pools and hot tubs. They can be accessed with one of several pool keys in the condo. At check-in one is always placed in a bowl on the kitchen counter. The key is a approximately 1"x3" piece of aluminum with the unit number stamped on one side. The pool hours are posted on the pool. Guests also has access to the tennis courts and BBQ areas. One BBQ area is located directly behind the unit. Even though YPD is one of the few units in the area with it's own washer and dryer there is also a laundry room located less than 50' away that is available from 6 AM to 10 PM daily. If you decide to use the community laundry facilities there is a laundry card in the unit. To add value to the card you will need a $ 5 bill.
Interaction with guests
I travel frequently for business between Hawaii and California and am often in California when guests book my condo. I am available by phone or email for any questions. I have a great network of support for guest needs. A friend is available to meet guests when they arrive and I have also maintenance support for anything that may arise.
Other things to note
All guests will need to obtain a parking pass upon entering the community. The parking pass needs to be displayed in your car whenever it is on the property. There are two types of parking passes, next business day and long term. If your arrival is after the office is closed; 5 PM Monday, Thursday or Friday or 7 PM Tuesday or Wednesday; you will receive a next day pass from the guard. I will call the day of your arrival to let the guard know of your visit. The next day pass will need to be turned into the office the next day to obtain your long term pass unless you arrive on a Friday. As the office is closed on the weekend you would go to the office Monday morning to get your long term parking pass. If your initial arrival is during business hours please go to the office that day to obtain your long term parking pass.
If you can not get the ceiling fan remote to operate any of the fans please do the following to reset the ceiling fan receiver to the remote.
Ceiling fan reset:
Step 1. At the light switch controlling power to the fan, turn the power off for 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 2. At the light switch controlling power to the fan, turn the power on.
Step 3. Within 20 seconds of restoring power, firmly push the On/Off button & hold it down for 5 seconds. It works best if you count to five before pushing the buttons, because It lets the receiver charge up completely before attempting to reset the code.
The following rules are for the homeowners association where the condo is located:
- Please pull forward into your parking space. This is so the guard can see the license plate on each car to insure that they are parked in the correct space.
- Please do not leave shoes outside the condo (Many Hawaiian families do not allow any shoes in their home but the homeowners association wants all shoes within the unit).
- Please don't hang towels on the lanai (balcony).
