Great weekend at David's flat in Finnieston. Perfect location for some of the best bars and restaurants in Glasgow (Crabshakk a must), close to the westend and the city centre. Thank you David for being a perfect, and flexible, host.

I have just had a wonderful weekend at David's apartment with my family. David couldn't be more helpful and the ease of booking and communication were excellent. As we had a member of the party who had mobility issues David was a great help in figuring out the best transport options for us during our stay. The apartment was clean and extremely spacious with great facilities (the milk & juice on arrival so we could all have a cup of tea was a godsend), the location is perfect for a drink on with bars around the corner but the apartment itself was nice and peaceful, best of both worlds! Thank you David for a great stay in your lovely home and for all your help. Much appreciated. Angie

The neighbourhood

The Apartment is situated in the preferred area of Glasgow's West end with easy access on foot to some of the finest city attractions Glasgow has to offer e.g. Kelvingrove Art museum, the Science museum, Glasgow University, Kelvingrove park, the Zaha Hadid Transport museum, the Hydro music venue, the Scottish exhibition centre etc etc...
There are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants literally on the doorstep just around the corner however the apartment is situated off the beaten track in a quiet residential location. The vibrant Byres road area is also just a 15 minute walk away.

Getting around

Parking is on street to the front of the property and payment is required during the day but it is free from 6pm until 8am and all weekend.
We can also provide cheaper guest parking permits for longer periods.
There is easy access into the town centre which can be reached on foot or there is a train link just 3 minutes walk away and Glasgow central station is 2 stops away.

Other things to note

There is a late check in surcharge of £20 after 9pm

Great location - so close to restaurants and bars of Argyle Street, but still quiet. Extremely well maintained with updated appliances and showers, without losing the charm of the flat. Very sunny during the day from the front, but if you don't like that, you can close the shutters. Cannot express how beautiful and bright the place is, and the kitchen is very cozy, although somehow also large.

Location is excellent. Many options for exploring the area on foot or by public transport. Having museum, park, playground and supermarket made it ideal for a travelling family. Also many good restaurants, bars and cafes in very close proximity. The flat was clean, cosy and spacious, as described. Would happily stay again.
