1921 Craftsman bungalow located in a very safe, quiet, and urban neighborhood just footsteps from the Mississippi River; coffee shops & restaurants are within an easy 2 block walking distance. Easy biking across the Lake Street Bridge (3 blocks away) brings you to a wide-range of additional dining options. Express bus to downtown 1 block away

Nice Ride rental bicycles are available nearby; bike to downtown MPLS, ST. Paul in 30 minutes! No car necessary here.

The space

We have a minimalist approach to furnishing our space - enough to be comfortable but clutter-free. In the summer, enjoy coffee or breakfast on the lovely front porch or relax in the open and light-filled living and dining rooms. Kitchen is 'alley-style' with everything you may need. There's a finished space in the attic (my home-based yoga studio space) that you may use, as well as a semi-finished basement with large, flat-screen television. Front loading laundry is in the basement. Last, the backyard is large and open, with a grill and table for enjoying the warm weather. Fire pit for enjoying evenings.

Guest access

Christine or Todd (or one of our parents) will provide you with keys upon your arrival. We are available for contact by phone or text at any time. Christine's parents live less than one mile away and their contact information will be provided as well. If you have bicycles, you may use the garage for storage. Last, we DO have a security system and will provide you with a code to use while you're here. We encourage you to use this, despite the general high level of safety in our neighborhood.

Christine's house is beautiful! All of it! Felt super at ease there right away. The house manual was very thorough and helped a ton. Access to the River Road was amazing!

This is a lovely home right by the St. Thomas campus. It was a quiet stay for our young family of 5. We loved the books, Legos and art supplies made available to us. Christine was readily available to us but she had every thing in order upon our arrival so we didn't need to contact her. Even had coffee readily available to us. We are thankful for such a lovely bungalow.

A tidy, peaceful refuge on a beautiful tree-lined street - Christine's light- and art-filled home was wonderful during our weekend stay. Quiet, clean, and clutter-free - we were welcomed by warm personal touches like children's books for our daughter. The legos were a big hit with everyone - as was the breezy screened front porch. We walked in the lovely neighborhood to admire front gardens and the Mississippi River bluffs and enjoyed great coffee (Kopplin's, Dogwood), bakery, cheese shop and restaurants nearby. We lounged in the yard and easily and safely stored our bikes in the garage. Christine was a thoughtful host who communicated perfectly throughout - and even helped to reunite us with a well-loved doll left behind. I recommend highly and hope to return.

Myself, my husband, and our 11 year-old live here in Saint Paul, just footsteps from the Mississippi River Bluffs. Urban living at its finest - we enjoy hiking, biking, walking, yoga, live music, and art.

I've spent the last 17 years teaching yoga and meditation. Todd works in IT.

We have enjoyed broad travels together as a family and as a couple, prior to having children. Amongst the places we've spent time, Mongolia is perhaps the most exotic. We used airbnb extensively as we traveled in Europe for 2.5 months in 2014.
