Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
This unique, architecturally designed aluminium pod, provides a glamorous retreat. Nestling in a private woodland, since 2016, overlooking a dew pond and the valley below, the space affords a kingsize bed, shower/wc, living area incorporating a 'galley' kitchen. Wood-burning stove, dining table and chairs and a sofa/ bunk bed.
Please be advised that there are NO curtains/blinds, in the accommodation, nor tv/wifi/mobile reception.
The Airship is NOT suitable for those who need these services.

The space
Whether you are here to enjoy a relaxing break, in our amazing woodlands, or using The Airship, as a base to explore the surrounding attractions, we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us.

The Airship is situated within the woodlands, one end overlooking a dew pond and the other end overlooking a meadow, we have woodland/countryside walks, bushcraft courses available on site, bbq area with barbecue, the communal smoking area and large fire bowl is situated to the right of the barn within a triangle of trees.
The Blue Ship is an attractive, olde worlde pub close by, in The Haven accessed by the woodland footpaths which one is permitted to explore. However, please do not trespass within the private accommodations/residences/buildings etc on site E.G The bus, barn, cabins, sheds and toilet block. The outside toilet block is permanently out of service.
The airship has it’s own private shower, toilet, etc inside the accommodation.
Please note that we do not accept children, under 12 years of age in this accommodation.
Please be aware of the resident pets roaming the woods.
Sydney the Carpathian sheepdog.
Teddy the terrier.
Bisbee the black cat and Little Dave the black and white cat.

Please note this is a working woodland and there may be noise from staff operating machinery and doing maintenance during busy seasonal periods. A 65 acre woodland needs constant maintenance and conservation work.

The tap water is safe to drink.

Guest access
The magical woodlands are spectacular, with walks, also leading off to public footpaths, perfect for relaxing, interacting with nature, and exploring/rambling or cycling along the 'downs link'. This accommodation is unsuitable for children under 12 years of age or those with mobility issues.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please note that in high season( April to October) it is advisable to take precautions against ticks. We recommend that guests wear long trousers, socks and walking boots within the woodland. Keep to the footpaths and do not walk, bare legged, wearing sandals, or casual footwear, through the long grass or bracken etc. One can buy tick repellent products from most pharmacies or online.
If you do find a tick on your person, remove with tweezers and seek medical advice. Rudgwick Medical centre tel:01403 822103 Keep the tick to show to the medical advisor. Please note that the woodland staff are not permitted to remove ticks from guests.
