Where you’ll be

Santa Reparata, Sardegna, Italy

Villa Istella de Mari is located in the “Baia Santa Reparata” residencial area of the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura. Here you can find some more information of the surroundings of the Villa.

BAIA SANTA REPARATA is a lovely residential settlement, just 2 km from Santa Teresa di Gallura. Baia Santa Reparata is resting between the headland and the peninsula of Capo Testa. Picturesque granite sculptures shaped by the wind are embedded in the Mediterranean growth with is refreshing essences of herbs and juniper. These attractions make Santa Reparata Bay one of the most attractive areas in all Gallura. Baia Santa Reparata offer nice opportunities for trekking, kitesurfing and diving. Directly in the Baia you have all the essential services such as a pizzeria, bars, a super nice restaurant and grocery shop open daily throughout the summer. You should choose the Bay for its proximity to nature and for the relaxed atmosphere. If you are looking for lively night out we recommend to go to Santa Teresa (only 2 km away). In Santa Teresa there are plenty of bars, gelaterie, restaurant and shops to choose from.

SANTA TERESA DI GALLURA Santa Teresa Gallura is a popular, lively and cheery seaside town on the northern coast of Sardinia. The small town is in a lovely coastal setting and it makes a pleasant base for a holiday in Sardinia. Gallura is the name of this part of Sardinia; the town is also known as Santa Teresa di Gallura or more simply as Santa Teresa. Most of Santa Teresa is fairly modern, but the well-kept, colorfully-painted streets are much more charming than most of Sardinia's other modern towns, and this town has a very amiable atmosphere with a character of its own. The central square, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, is a large open pedestrian space lined with cafe-bars and souvenir shops, coral and jewellery stores. The town can be reached by public bus services from both Alghero and Olbia airport but it is definitely helpful to have a car if you wish to tour the coast and inland areas surrounding Santa Teresa. The Santa Teresa Marina is one of the most modern and best equipped in the region, has a capacity of 750 docks for various categories of boats up to 35 meters. From here the tourist boats depart daily to find out in a few minutes the beauty of the coast, the islands of La Maddalena and Corsica.

CAPO TESTA PENINSULA Capo Testa peninsula points towards Corsica, resting in the chrstal clear waters between Baia Santa Reparata and Santa Teresa di Gallura. Capo Testa is known for its exceptional landscape and considered one of the most inspiring locations in Sardinia with incredible granite formations, historical and archaeological patrimony, white sandy beaches and the marine park of Lavezzi, the reserve sites with great natural value and the picturesque archaeological site of Lu Brandali. You can see the Capotesta peninsula from the living room window.
