It was a very nice experience, we enjoyed every (Website hidden by Airbnb) quite and peaceful. The cabin had everything we need.It is a historical place of New Zealand which made the place even more special!

Delighted you enjoyed yourselves here. Re the history: NZ is a young country and this place was settled later than the east coast, so stories of the past feel relatively recent. Thanks for the kind comments about my book. Have a great holiday.

So pleased you enjoyed yourself - and went swimming. On TV1 news Sunday (I think) that the Tasman Sea is warmer that usual so guess that means the Kaipara Harbour. Look forward to seeing you next time - and thanks.

Pleased to know you enjoyed it here. Yes, the birds are interesting - white-faced herons breed in the trees behind the house and often oyster catchers spend ages here before nesting in the next bay. Thank you for choosing to stay here.

A wonderful slice of heaven- the view as you drive round the bend on your decent is breathtaking! A stunning cabin with a wonderful lush green lawn perfect for kids and a tent. Rae and Rex are fabulous hosts! The kids just loved meeting “Pony” the horse and the wee poddy calf too…
