Luxurious Yurt the heart of the South Downs National Park - enjoy peace, comfort and freedom amidst the breathtaking beauty of the "green and pleasant land" of unspoilt Sussex countryside.

The space

Hidden in a meadow known as Night Pastures, Beech Yurt is hand crafted using hardwood that once grew just ½ a mile away. Natural light from an oak stable door and three picture windows complete with blinds flood the space and, if you want to get even closer to nature, the stable doors can easily be opened to let fresh air and the sounds of the countryside stream in. A luxurious double bed, and two optional single beds complete with fresh linen and chest of drawers makes your rural retreat a home from home. On those rare occasions when the sun doesn't shine, the natural insulation of wood floor, wool rugs and the warmth of a wood burning stove will keep you blissfully comfortable.

Outside, the Yurt deck has a fully-equipped camp kitchen(gas stove [with grill], cups, plates, cutlery, utensils, pots, frying pans, cafetiere etc.), barbecue, washstand and fresh water tap, plus table and chairs - the perfect setting for glorious, memorable alfresco meals and moonlit dinners. Nearby, your safe and snug ‘en-suite’ bathroom hut, complete with non-flushing toilet, Victorian sink, towels and a large walk in hot shower means you can still enjoy the comforts of home whilst out in the field!

** Please note that we now have 4 Yurt camps on our farm. If Beech Yurt is not available at the times you want, please also try one of our other camps by copying and pasting the links below into your browser address bar.

Fun weekend for the kids. A very gentle intro to camping/the outdoors. Great hosts and nice to get away from the usual routine.

The yurts were beautiful- the pictures don't do them justice, they are massive! The shower facilities are perfect (hot water all weekend and a loo with a view!) and the log burner in the yurt was ideal for warming ourselves up next to after a long day walking and having a few drinks in the local pub. Rachel checked us in, was friendly, helpful and an all round lovely person who was keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Amazing location , will come back soon!

Wow what a great experience, even in the rain... The yurts are beautifully made, the linen is fresh, the shower has hot water and the large basked of complimentary logs kept us going all weekend. We felt warmly welcomed and looked after. Once you go glamping like this, it's hard to go back to normal camping! Thank you for a lovely family weekend :)

Superb, secluded place only a stone's throw from London. Utter peace and tranquility. Our three boys all under 7 had a smashing time with loads of space to play in. The steam collection nearby waas ace too! Very welcoming hosting too. Really enjoyed it.

We (a group of adults) had a great stay in the yurt on a weekend at the end of October. Nobody was cold as the yurt was so cosy with the wood burner and with really comfy bedding. It was quite hard to find in the dark but the hosts were helpful in making sure we got there! We got a train from Waterloo to liphook and then it was a short taxi ride to the campsite. We went to both of the recommended pubs, but be warned, you need to book ahead for food! We had 2 great walks over the weekend - the area is stunning! The yurts themselves were well equipped - we were astounded at how nice the bathroom was! The "kitchen" was well equipped with a gas hob and running water so it's very easy to make an al fresco breakfast. We have all agreed we'll go back next year - genuinely couldn't fault it!
