Quietly located in a historic cobbled street close to the junction of Frederick Street. It forms part of Edinburgh's greatly admired First New Town, which is a World Heritage Site.

Quite literally a few minutes stroll away are acclaimed Restaurants, major retail stores, fashionable bars and many other city centre delights. Waverley Rail Station and Tram Way are all readily available.

This is a beautifully designed flat on the second floor of a Georgian tenement building. The space has been created with the highest attention to detail.

We stayed at the Thistle St flat for two weeks in April. The location of the flat was perfect! There were many great restaurants and shops just out the door. The flat was large, clean, and bright. It was equipped with everything we needed for our small family. Kate stocked the fridge and bathroom with amenities. We would love to stay again on our next trip to Edinburgh! We had a wonderful time.

A lovely welcome and Kate's place exceeded our expectations! The photo's do not do it justice. The location is excellent for exploring all of Edinburgh and the only downside is the noise outside from other people.

Despite an early hiccup where my booking was cancelled and I was asked to pay a higher rate (all quickly resolved by Air BnB), I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this beautiful flat in it's fantastic location. Kate had arranged croissants, butter, Orange juice, milk and chocolates for my arrival, which was all much appreciated. The flat is very newly decorated and extremely comfortable - beautiful colours, comfy beds and lovely furniture. The bath and shower were both fab. The kitchen was well equipped. The wifi worked very well. The bathroom and bedrooms are at opposite ends of the flat (not next to each other) but this is just an observation and didn't concern me either. The sitting room is very large and spacious. Huge soft rugs on the beds which will be cosy in the winter. There were several early morning (and quite loud) deliveries to the nearby cafes/restaurants but this did not interfere with me too much. I spent most of my time in Edinburgh at the Fringe (most shows were about 20 min walk away, which I was happy with). I had delicious breakfast nearby at The Tigerlily Hotel, The George hotel, Urban Angel and Leo's Beanery - all great and more fun than a "chain". I really hope to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone. Just perfect.

I enjoyed my estay in Kate's place ,the photographs gave very clear impression of the house , it was in a very nice and comfortable , nice welcome pack with basics in the fridge , very clean ,and the location was good, walking distance to centre and and Kate was always very helpful . If I come back, I'ts my place...recomended
