About this listing

Apartment 6 is located on the first floor of the property and overlooks the gardens at the side of the property making it a remarkably peaceful place to stay. There is more than 32 square meters of space in total and the apartment consists of a bedroom with a luxury super king bed (which splits into a twin on request) a separate sitting room with sofa and dining space, a bathroom with bath and shower over and a separate kitchen.

The space

The apartment is located on the first floor of the building and is accessed via the grand staircase. It consists of a sitting room with sofa that overlooks the gardens at the side of the property. In this room there is also a dining table and chairs where two can dine in comfortably. There is also a bedroom with a bed that can be configured as a super king or else split into a twin. It has a superbly thick luxury pocket sprung mattress. (Please note that super king is a UK description and might be described in a different way in other countries. To be clear it is a 6ft wide bed.) The apartment also has a good sized bathroom which features a bath and shower over. There is a closet with plenty of hanging space and finally a well equipped kitchen with electric cooker and stove, a microwave and a coffee maker. There is also a dishwasher.

Guest access

Guests have free access to the building and their apartment at all times.

Apart from the apartment itself guests have access to the grounds that surround the building as well as to the conservatory at the front of the building. There is also a communal laundry room at garden level where there are washers and dryers. These are coin operated but we provide detergent free of charge.

Interaction with guests

As owners we are resident on site and so are happy to be on hand for any advice or assistance that guests might need. Equally we like to respect our guests' privacy and are conscious that we should not intrude. We just want our guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Guests have my personal mobile number so I can be contacted at any time even if not obviously around the building.

Other things to note

We have two resident sausage dogs called Oscar and Hector. They are extremely friendly little chaps who love to meet new people and make new friends as well as get up to all sorts of mischief.

Adam’s apartment met all our expectations: warm, spacious, well appointed and quiet. The food at The Kent’s a short walk away was superb. The beach and the harbour are both within a short drive so we found the location ideal. Thanks Adam

We really enjoyed our stay at Muntham apartments in Torquay. It's a handsome old building in a nice part of town, and an easy drive or pleasant walk down to the sea front and marina. Our apartment (no. 6) was clean, comfortable and well equipped, with a huge bed (and nice sheets!), well stocked kitchen with lots of little extras that really help, a good bathroom and comfortable lounge, tastefully decorated. There's off road parking, and plenty of greenery around the building, making it feel private and quiet. There's a well stocked Co-op, coffee shop and wine bar all within a five minute walk. Adam and Grant were polite, helpful and easy to deal with, and are clearly committed to making sure that guests have a comfortable stay. We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to enjoy some time in Torquay.

Ein super schönes Haus und ein gut ausgestattetes Appartment. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es gibt einen guten Frühstücksladen und ein gutes Pub, das man zu Fuss erreichen kann und man kann von dort Touren in die Umgebung machen.
