Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space, Deluxe Room 3, Paddy & Pol is a perfect getaway. Surrounded by nature, and set between paddy fields with a wonderful cross-breeze and stunning views. Situated just 15 minutes village walk or 3 mins by scooter to Coconut's Beach. Or stroll through the nearby paddy fields, and follow the river for the most tranquil experience. Your day will begin with the sun rising over the house, as the local birds call to gently wake the night into the day.
The space
Hello & welcome to our property. A 4 bed guest bungalow, comprising of 3 guest rooms all in a row, rooms 1, 2 and 3, then room 4 is on the opposite side of the house. All rooms are equipped with AC & ceiling fans, en-suite bathroom’s including solar hot water shower’s & private terrace’s. There is an additional 5th hot water shower bathroom.
We have recently created an epic kitchenette, lounge space, with pink polished concrete kitchenette and full height ceilings. Wrapped around these spaces is an uber comfortable L shaped veranda and garden.
Your stay comes with basic cooking facilities and free drinking water, please help us and the planet by bringing a refillable bottle with you.
The house is set in ½ an acre of land, with views of the paddy fields and coconut trees. You will see occasional monkeys, monitor lizards, cows, geckos, village dogs and a whole host of other animals. Our jungle village location means you will hear birds tweeting, peacocks honking, monkey's chattering, cow's mooing, frogs trilling and occasional dogs barking! We love it!!!
Smoking is allowed on the shared veranda but not on the private terraces, this will ensure we can keep the bedrooms smelling fresh for all guests.

Room 4 Our most private room has the largest bedroom & bathroom and south facing private patio with garden views. This room is suitable to book if you are wanting more privacy, or travelling with a young child or baby.
Room 1 The second biggest room, with a larger bathroom and slightly larger terrace.
Room 3 has a large bedroom, and the same sized bathroom and terrace as Bedroom 2.
Room 2 has a slightly smaller bedroom than the others and the same sized bathroom and terrace as Bedroom 3.

Guest access
You will be given keys to the house, and for your guest bedroom door. Your private terrace & en-suite bathroom can also be locked from inside your bedroom. Please ensure all doors are locked during the night and when you go out.
You have full shared use of the lounge, veranda, garden and outside shower.
For a small fee we can also take care of your laundry needs, please speak to us during your stay to arrange. Washing normally gets put on in the morning to take advantage of the sun drying your garments.
During your stay
Dinuka, Felix & I (Su) now live off-site, but don't worry, we are only a couple of minutes scooter ride away, and can easily pop to the house when needed.
During your stay Dinuka & the team will be around and very much like you to feel at home. Think of it as a home away from home stay.
Me (Su), little Felix, and our dog Peanut will also pop by for occasional visits, and to run some engaging creative workshops.
The team offer chargeable breakfast, lunch and dinner requests! Speak to the team about what's the options we have.
Dinuka rents scooters, please speak to him about availability, hires and prices.
Additionally Dinuka has two local surf, clothing and accessories shops, called Pol, one is onsite, at the end of the veranda, the other you can find on the main road almost opposite the road leading down to Coconut beach.
For surf, Dinuka can arrange Beginner Surf Lessons, or for those surfers out there, he offers Surf Guiding as well. Speak to him about price and all things surf... he loves it!
Other things to note
We are a family who love to get up early for a sunrise dog walk, surf, splash in water, dance on verandas, be creative, exercise or practice pilates & yoga.
You are welcome to join for any of the above, or take a rest, have a lie in, and simply unwind.... The bottom line is we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy a fun and calming stay.

Hey, we're Su & Dinuka, a British/Sri Lankan couple with an uber cute 3 year old son, Felix & cool dog, Peanut. After running a successful rental guest house for 4 years, we bought a house on the same street, our favourite location! We are delighted to welcome you as guests.
