We had such a great trip! Ana and her family were incredible hosts, such nice people and they created the perfect energy for our 10 days behind guincho beach. The house itself was a really cool energy, all the rooms look out onto the beautiful vinyards and hillsides of Guincho, tranquil winds that blow through the valley create an amazing ambience! We stayed 4 of us together and there was plenty of space. Also, the backyard we were cooking food and eating in and it was such a good vibe. Thanks to Ana for everything! Great host, great place, can't wait to return next year!

Ana was extremely welcoming, relaxed and a warm host. She sent through great maps and directions and waited up for our late arrival and helped make sure we had a lovely holiday. Guincho house and the garden are both very beautiful and the view over the hills was memorising. Its a quiet location but close by to lots of beautiful beaches and fun things to do. Its also a nice place to just doing nothing. You can take a walk to the beach from here but having a car makes sense. Cascais is a great and just along the coast; Lisbon and Sintra make for great day trips; the coast has many choices - lazy beaches, good for a swim, or super active surf and kite surfing beaches - can be windy and with dramatic cold Atlantic big waves. Most westerly point in Portugal, great to watch the sun set into the sea.
