Located in the picturesque Hudson Valley and a short drive from NYC, our home is the perfect place for those visiting West Point, Storm King Arts Center, Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall and DIA in Beacon. A customized kitchen is a chef's delight with all the amenities necessary to make the perfect meal. The view of the Hudson River from the front porch add to the feel of this quaint location. A short walk from the house are restaurants, post office, nail salon, and coffee shop.

The space

The house was built in 1870 so stay in a historical space that has been completely renovated inside.

Guest access

You are free to use all the rooms with the exception of the garage and attic space.

Interaction with guests

We are available via email, text, or phone call. There is a lockbox on the door, we will provide the code the day of your arrival.

Other things to note

Things you should know before booking: There are 3 bedrooms 1 downstairs (full size bed) 2 upstairs (1 king, 1 queen). The downstairs bedroom has its own bath while the upper bedrooms share a bath. The home was built in 1870 and has been thoroughly updated however, the period narrow steep staircase still exists. An active railroad track (freight) also adds to its charm (it was a selling point for us) though it may not be pleasing to all. We have equipped the home with earplugs for those who may be bothered by the screech of the passing trains.

We loved living there and it didn’t bother us so we hope you will not let it deter you from booking this idyllic location and enjoying all that small town America has to offer.

This is a fantastic place for two or three couples (or a family) who want to be near Storm King or West Point or just scenic Hudson River hiking. The beds are super comfortable, the linens top quality and the kitchen is AMAZING (much nicer than mine). We loved sitting out on the front porch morning and eve looking at the river and watching the light change and chatting. It was bliss. The trains came by a few times a day and also at night so the ear plugs (supplied by hosts) were deemed necessary by each one of us- sleepers who are super sensitive to noise take note! But on the whole this is a lovely and peaceful place to spend some time. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and we had no trouble settling right in. We really enjoyed our stay!

This was our first use of airbnb and we truly enjoyed being able to stay in Roy and Stephanie's place in Cornwall. Stayed there for our 30th Class Reunion at West Point. Was extremely beneficial being able to stay so close and to have such a clean and well-appointed house. All accommodations exceeded our expectations. Roy was very responsive to our questions before booking, and very accommodating. We highly recommend this place for guests. Great beds, very comfy - kitchen was absolutely outstanding - high-end appliances, outfitted with all the items needed to cook some outstanind meals. And very close to all the amenities Cornwall has to offer. Great running / walking routes from right outside the house. Beautiful views of the Hudson River. Very nice area, just up the road from a great town park. Even had To-Go cups for coffee that we made prior to our departure and long drive home!

Beautiful home. Three bedrooms, great kitchen. They are close to train tracks, so there is some background noise. After the first night, I slept though the night and did not hear a thing.

We had a wonderful stay! Would we stay here again? Absolutely! The home was very clean, the kitchen was amazing, the linens luxurious, the beds very comfortable, and lots of space for us to spread out. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the activity on the river and the trains passing by. We made several trips back and forth from the home to West Point and it is a very convenient location (about 10-15 minutes). Home is very convenient to grocery, restaurants, and coffee shops. There is a beautiful park nearby that is worth walking to and gives you a great view of the river and mountains.

Our family loved this home. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch morning and night. We walked around the neighborhood and loved looking at the views of the Hudson. As for the trains, they did not bother us at all. We would definitely stay again. Roy and Stephanie are great to communicate with and extremely helpful.

We had a a great visit to the area, especially Storm King Art Center which is right nearby. We also enjoyed the Italian restaurant just up the street, Pepettini. Roy and Stephanie's was a fine home base with a porch to watch beautiful sunsets on the river. Clean and comfortable! The train noise was more screeching than I expected and the long freight trains took a while to pass, but we generally had a fine stay and would recommend it to others who are not sensitive to noise. Thanks!
