The neighbourhood

There are two restaurants next to the apartment, just across the street, where you can enjoy original Dalmatian and Mediterranian food and specialities.

The neighborhood is perfect fror exploring Zadar, there is a bakery 15 meters left from the flat, and a SIXT Rent-a-car, organic shop, laundry service, hair dresser and a restaurant serving breakfast just in front, 50m down the street. On your right side, after 15 meters walk you will find a nice little shop selling award winning vine from Nadin, Pag cheese, and domestic dried meat products like prsciotto, shokol, pork belly and marinated anchovies. Some of the houses in the neighborhood have been painted by the local artists so you can enjoy some art and a few frames have been left empty so if you feel like it you can leave some of your own art as well.

Even tough Daniel was very nice and easy going, we weren't so happy about our stay. The parking was easy and the location is very good, not far away from the old city and view to the port. A good point for the beautiful terrace and the grill. But the lack of cleanliness was a real issue for us. The kitchen wasn't clean, neither were accessories (the coffee machine was smelling like it never has been cleaned). There were brownish traces under the fridge. The shower was greasy and the bathroom floor was sticky. There were spots on the bed and there weren't any bedsheets. On top of that, the place was very very very cold. We were travelling during October but this was the only place where we were freezing, and we did the whole croatian coast.

We'd 4 perfekt days in that very old but comfortable house with this nice garden and amazing view from window to harbour. All what we needed where near by. Very good restaurant over the street. Marco Polo Restaurant was already closed. Breakfast we'd outside on a bench with amazing view to the old city. If you need a car, you must book that online - it's more cheep than SIXT in the neighborhood. Thank you Daniel for let us feeling the summer in October.

Communication with Daniel was great and he was very welcoming and friendly once we arrived at the apartment. The apartment itself is lovely and looks just like the photos, the outside area was lovely to be able to use! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the old town and very close to local amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is the perfect location, close to beaches, to the old town and to the bus station. The bedrooms can be a little chilly at night but the garden and the marina views are incredible. We had everything we needed except that the laundry machine was broken. Daniel was an excellent host who was very easy to communicate with and helped us a lot.

First....I travel a lot for work and for holiday so I have realistic expectations when I travel. I get that things will not be perfect and things very from country to country. Especially in areas where the buildings are much older. So I always go in knowing things will likely be different from what we are used to at home. There was an issue with the bedding. One bed had a table cloth instead of a flat sheet and the other ended up having a twin sheet instead of a queen. We sent a text after I noticed the table cloth and he said he stopped over (while we were at dinner) and he said to take the sheet off the other bed instead of leaving one. Which doesn't work because we were using both rooms. There were also holes in some of the pillow cases. He didn't respond to any texts after the first one. The main issue we had though was MICE. A mouse ran through my bedroom and was checking out my luggage. I scared it away and it hid in the amour. You could hear it crawling around in there. Keep in mind... that's where the cushions are stored for the 5th and 6th sleeping "beds". I sent a text but no response. In fact, he still hasn't responded. We quickly picked up all of our stuff and put it up higher... but we didn't get a good night sleep after that. When we got up in the morning we decided it would be best to pack things up and head out earlier then planned. In the hour it took us to pack, shower and get out the door the mouse made several appearances under the sink where he was trying to get pieces of dried pasta up under the sink. We could hear him chewing away and then he would come back for another. He had no fear of me. I sat on a chair and waited for him to come back so I could get a picture of it. He could have cared less that I was sitting feet away from him. We were only in the apartment for 10 minutes to drop off our stuff, to try to sleep one night, and an hour in the morning and we saw the mouse at least 5 times. The apartment itself seemed to be in decent shape but the entry to the building needs lots of love. It was pretty rough and the lights didn't work. I also don't think the floors had been cleaned in a while in the apartment. When you walked around barefoot your feet would be filthy. It has a lot of potential but with the mice and lack or response from the owner I wouldn't recommend this unit. There are plenty of others in the area to pick from.

Angela, this apartment have perfect reviews, you are the first one that made lying notices. Your review is not valid, and you made false review.
