Other things to note
The house is in a very beautiful wooded location, ideal for people looking for peace and quiet. There are numerous walks on footpaths starting from the house or on the nearby Chailey Commons.
- Our house is set in a tranquil wooded setting off an unmade road. It is very near to Chailey Common, the Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park. It is also close to the Ashdown Forest, the South Downs, historic Lewes, and buzzing Brighton. There are lots of country walks and friendly pubs nearby. You’ll love the house because of the quiet garden in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside. The two bedroom annexe has a large main room with well equipped kitchen/lounge/diner. There is a cosy woodburner, table and 4 chairs, and 2 double sofas. Upstairs there are 2 interconnecting bedrooms and a shower room. We ask guests to kindly make sure that the front gate is kept closed as there are large numbers of deer in the adjacent woods who love to eat our plants!
