We were made to feel very welcome, we met at the tube station and we were taken to the apartment. The flat is small basic and clean but it has everything you need for a few days away. It is very good value for money and it is a fantastic location. It is near the British Museum, Convent Garden, Oxford Street. Russell Square has a lovely park opposite when you can sit and eat breakfast and the staff have been their for years. The apartment is secure and quiet so we had a good night sleep. We had a fabulous time and I would definitely stay there again.

Anne was very helpful and flexible with check-ins and outs which was crucial to me as I tend to make last minute plans. The place might not be big but it is still quite cosy. The only thing I want to point out is the sinks are pretty small but it's not a big problem. I'd recommend this place to any couple who wish to visit London as this place is close to train stations (Kings Cross, Russell square) which mean you can travel to different places in London without much hassle.

Extremely lovely hosts and located at a really great place, close to Russell Square station and accessible to many other central London areas by foot or other transportation. The place has old school vibes, and cosy that is better fit for a small family with a young child that can sleep on the sofa. Overall, good experience!

Overall great experience. Never met Anne in person but someone who works for her. Good value for money. A few details however: - The third bed is a mattress that you simply lay on the floor, not a sofa bed as listed - There is no WiFi in the flat, you have to go to the reception and sit there - The doors of the shower don't close entirely, I could get to take a shower without spilling water on the floor - There is no mirror above the sink in the restroom, it's on the opposite wall which is pretty dumb when you shave for example You get what you pay for in terms of quality. Would recommend anyways, considering the great location.

Anne is a wonderful host! It was very pleasant to communicate with her before my stay and she even met me outside the train station when I arrived, showing me the way to the flat and the flat itself. This is a great location and a very nice place to stay for a weekend in London! Everything I needed was within easy reach. And even though the flat is so centrally located, it is very quiet. So I could get a good night sleep after walking around or going out to the pubs. The pull-down bed is very comfortable. The kitchen looks functional - but as I do not like cooking, I did not try it. I definitely recommend this as a great base for exploring London!

What I have learnt in my short time staying in London, is you need to know what you intend to spend your time doing to decide where you will stay. For the most part I would suggest covent garden and the surrounds for most people but Russell square is a perhaps more affordable alternative as it is geared to students. Anne was great. Very a accommodative; met me in front of the train station and let me leave later in the day. I put the keys through the post box when leaving. The studio, is student accommodation in its normal non-holiday life. There's a pull down bed (quite a novelty for me). At night and an empty room with table/chairs during the day. The building is old with rehabbed interiors from the 80s. Admittedly you have to look past the peeling Formica in the kitchen, the problematic to open windows, no AC ( there is a fan) or Wifi. I picked it for location -around corner from Russell square train station- Piccadilly line so 2 stops or 10 min to covent garden), kitty corner with Russell square proper and 1 block from the British museum. There's a tesco in front of the train station. Additionally, there's a small kitchen, a smaller private bath and nice wooden floors. It was also clean.
