BonnieCroft is an authentic and unique 124 year-old Adirondack Cottage, family-owned since 1949. It is spacious yet cozy with a wrap-a-round porch, living room with large stone fireplace & Adirondack and artistic works. Just uphill from Lake Placid or short walk to Mirror Lake Main St. with rental boats & beach nearby. Home to the 1932 & 1980 Olympic games, visit the Museum, Olympic venues & Whiteface Mtn. During this special time, most restaurants are offering socially-distanced settings.

The space
BonnieCroft is an authentic Adirondack "Cottage" built in 1896. It has been in my family for 70 years. The house is filled with family art-work & a large oak dining room table that can fit 8 people.

Where you’ll be

Lake Placid, New York, United States

Lovely neighborhood - Across the street is the historical Interlaken Inn with a fantastic restaurant . They will be re-opening Aug. 27, 2020. Just down the street is the beautiful Mirror Lake Inn with The Cottage pub on Mirror Lake. Main St. is just beyond that.

With a ceramic artist father & musician mother as mentors, I spent most of my life traveling between our homes in NJ & Lake Placid, NY. After college in VA, I pursued a career in theatre & music in NYC, followed by various positions at NYU's Grad. School of Social Work. When I met my musician husband, I moved to the Adirondacks & we began performing as an acoustic duo. My family has owned "BonnieCroft" in Lake Placid since 1949 - the views reminding my father of his homeland Hungary. For years we have opened our home to renters. With my parents gone, I have joined the Airbnb community to continue sharing our charming, artistic, & authentic Adirondack "cottage" with others. I greet all my guests and look forward to meeting. You will have a great experience at "BonnieCroft"!
