This place was the pits, especially for the price; I’ve stayed in better quality hotels for less. We arrived in the evening and were instructed to park on the side of the house. There were huge walls of snow flanking a narrow path that makes you very apprehensive walking should the snow possibly fall, plus you don’t have a light to see where you’re going in a new place. The stairs to the side door were icy and easy to slip on. Once we arrived it seemed odd that there was tape over the bottom lock of the door and we were instructed not to use that lock; a little weird, but no big deal. When we walked in one of the first things we saw was duct tape across sliding doors that say “No Open,” and then things just kept getting weirder. We noticed that you need to leave the “studio” and go into a hall where there is a bathroom, but in that hall there are more taped off closets and a door to the main house. We had no idea this was a shared house and this threw us off because there is no way of locking the door to enter the bathroom area OR the studio, so I hope you’re comfortable leaving your things in the studio when those in the main house could just come in! That first night the people above us were running around until midnight (adults and kid/s) and then it started again to wake us up before 6 am; they have no respect for those staying below them. In addition, sometimes you hear them screaming. The second day it really threw us off when suddenly the man that lives upstairs showed up at the door twice and wanted to look at something with the tv and before he left he asked us to turn off the bathroom fan when we weren’t in the bathroom; talk about feeling watched! We had the fan on to de-fog the bathroom after a shower, and I’m surprised they could hear it over their running and screaming. While we’re on the subject of the bathroom: from the first time we used it the toilet wouldn’t work and we’d have to fix it almost every time to get the water to run properly. Also, there is a cabinet above the toilet that has dirty underwear and a tampon in it. I saw another review mention the underwear and tampon before we booked it, but shrugged it off and figured that would be taken care off. Well, as I was looking for something I opened the cabinet to see that it was still there and hadn’t been cleaned. GROSS! The kitchen in this place was small, but sufficed, although if you want something basic like a wine bottle opener, bring it yourself. This place has the worst kitchen supplies out of any Air BnB where I have stayed. Finally, this place was full of spiders – one startled...

We had unfortunate circumstances arriving in Tahoe during the biggest storm in recent times... getting more than 5 feet of snow a few days in a row. This complicated our stay quite a bit, and the location of the house was impossible to access without chains or snow tires since the plow didn't come by often. The house itself was comfortable, but very basic. Diego was very helpful in organizing someone to shovel us out of the 10 feet of snow outside the door. It is a bit noisy as there are two kids living upstairs who run around early in the morning, however the lady upstairs was nice and lent us their shovel and paper towels during our 72 hour movie marathon (Thank you satellite TV!). This place is great as a crash pad for a couple looking to spend most of their time outside skiiing or exploring.

Overall the place was Okay. Location was good, fairly convenient and. Lose to most things. Cleanliness of the place was okay except for when looking for extra tissue I ran into a dirt pair of underwear and tampon in the cabinet above the toilet. Kitchen was stocked with enough to get by. There is a family upstairs who I'm assuming have a kid due to the loud stomping and running in the early morning. During my first night I was a little confused as to the parking situation and parked behind the upstairs tenants car and was woken up at 5am by the lady cursing at me and telling me to move my car. She opened a door in the hallway that I had no idea she had access to the area in which I was staying. Diego was apologetic and fairly easy to reach.

Great place with all I needed, close to diamond peak (I was there for skiing). Easy to access Incline Village downtown with supermarkets (Raley), restaurant, bars and casino. The kitchen was fully equipped!!! (Loved it). Bathroom and bed were great too. Parking spot can be tough for a 2-wheel drive but I enjoyed it! Thanks again Diego

Wonderful, cozy spot a few minutes away from the Diamond Peak ski resort with all the amenities you need for an outdoor, adventurous mindset. It is beautifully located with access to ski rental shops, grocery store (Raley's) and ski resort. For the wintertime stay this is a warm, comfortable spot to stay in. The host was easy to reach and communicate with and provided easy to follow directions. I would highly recommend for all ski lovers for the wintertime and hikers in the summertime.
