Property is one of the highest properties on the west side of the town of Ouray overlooking the city of Ouray and the Amphitheater. 6 day minimum stays in summer (Sat/Sun-Sat/Open). Separate downstairs apartment with 2 Bedrooms ( 1 King/ 1 Full) / 1 Bathroom. Quiet and secluded private deck. Close to Main Street and restaurants (less than a 10 minute walk) and the hot springs pool (15 minute walk). My place is good for couples & families. There are 2 tvs & Dish hoppers.

The space
We do not have room for parking of trailers. We may be able to accommodate trailers on some property across town. The refrigerator is a min-fridge so you may want to bring a cooler.

We are at the end of a dead-end street and our place is very secluded with pine trees adjacent to the deck. There is a porch swing as well as a couple of deck chairs to enjoy the overlook to Ouray and the Amphitheater. Wildlife that you may see include deer, bear, fox, and many different types of birds.

During your stay

My father, Vern, lives part time in the summer, on the upper level of the home. He has been spending time in Ouray for over 40 years. He can direct you on the best things to do with your time in town. Some suggestions: Ouray Perimeter Trail if into hiking (very close to my home), Ouray Historical Museum (wonderful history of Chief Ouray, mining, railroads, ranching in addition to mineral and Indian artifacts), the Ouray Hot Springs Pool, and the Via Ferrata, a cross between hiking and mountain climbing for active children and adults (visit one of the guiding services in town for further information and equipment rental).
