Great vintage feel and tastefully furnished. Fantastic location close to local shops which were high quality. Only downside is the toilet and shower being downstairs

This little cottage is a real find, it's cosy and beautifully decorated with ample space for 4, we are a family of 5 (kids aged 10, 9 and 7) and found the cottage accommodated us perfectly well with our youngest on the blow-up bed and used the toddlers chair. We were blessed with good weather during our stay, so we're out & about most days - but did have one afternoons on in the garden, with the children perfectly entertained by the games from the shed. If you have younger kids it might be worth packing a small paddling pool or sprinkler attachment for sunny days as the garden is lovely and a real suntrap. The little village of Bemridge is also a gem of a place. There is a pub, a chippy & a butchers within staggering distance of the cottage, all serving excellent food and good value. The Bakery is also worth a visit for breakfast or tea & cake. The local beach is lovely and sandy (once you get past the squidgy sand, it's glorious) and we could have happily spent every day there with a picnic. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would happily return - this feeling was unanimous from all the family.

The cottage and location was just perfect. So tastefully decorated, comfortable and cosy. Great location, we would throughily reccomend the pub just a short stroll at the end of the road and it was within easy reach of the harbour. Bembridge has so much to offer, yet it is so peaceful. We will be back!!

This is truly a gem of a place and I'm torn between writing this review and keeping what we know to ourselves because for sure availability will be less for us in the future once you all read and discover our secret. Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean , centrally located , every comfort and the most responsive and kind host you could imagine. Great value for money if not slightly underpriced. A unique getaway place for families and couples or even a single person seeking the solace and beautiful of the island. We shall definitely become repeat offenders with pride and much happiness. Thank you very much for sharing your lovely cottage with us. We loved the decor, style and appreciated all the extra bits and pieces, such as foil, soap, washing-up liquid, ice packs etc. We found the cottage clean and very comfortable. We found the local and further afield information pack invaluable. We recommend: Osborne House (2 trips and still didn't see it all); Any of the coastal walks - our golden retriever loved them - ever changing with the tides; Local Chip shop excellent; Handy Co-op 7am -11pm opening brilliant; Carisbrooke Castle. The sun shone every day and the five days whizzed by. Hope to return to explore further. Best regards Suzanne and Peter Roberts

We fell in love with this cottage as soon as we arrived. It was in a great location as a base to explore the island and the local amenities were brilliant. The cottage had everything you could possibly need for a family holiday without having to take lots of things away with you. We especially found the baby amenities very useful (high chair, travel cot etc). Marion has thought of everything that you may need in a home away from home. We would definitely return to this cottage and recommend to friends and family.
