Staying at Todd's place was wonderful! Todd has a marvelous personality - he is very smart and super friendly (although he can be a little bit grumpy in the evenings) ). Right now I am reading like a dozen reviews about how cool a host he is - so true! Todd would always walk an extra mile to make you stay as comfortable as possible. The interesting thing about Todd's house - it is *way* bigger on the inside than on the outside. It even has a gym! The house air conditioning system is a real salvation from DC devastating heat and Todd was so kind as to put an additional fan to chill me! The house is located in a very nice area. Todd gave me one of his own bikes - it was a charm getting around the neighbourhood or to UMD, and it costs nothing. By the way, the house is right next to a beautiful park with bike roads and lots of squirrels, deers and other wildlife - no way I could have enjoyed all of that staying anywhere else. Finally, cats. They are super lovely!

A great place to stay north of DC! Todd set an affordable price plus provided a comforting home to return to at the end of the day. it was my first Airbnb experience ever and I'm so glad I did it!

we spent à very good time at Todd's house. you can pass a good day visiting Washington and then relaxing in the quiet place. the neighborhood is plaisant. Todd is a very welcoming host. we never meet him, but he was very attentive in the stay was good. we were in contact by messages and we had other contacts if we had problems. you need time if you want to go to Washington. but it was not a problem for us. you can take the bus to go to the station or like us, you can walk enjoying the neighborhood.( 30 min) We recommend!!! nous avons passé un superbe moment chez Todd.

Not sure I have enough superlatives to describe Todd as a host. At every turn he made sure that we were happy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. He offered us extra bedrooms, food, drinks, even a whiskey! At one point he was going out for groceries and offered to pick us up things! He helped us find the right buses and trains to get, recommended places to go, and was happy to just chat. Our flight in was delayed by about five hours, but Todd was super chill about it all, which was great! I don't think we've encountered a host as amicable whilst using Airbnb... Certainly not outside of the pokey mid-western towns famous for their charity! Oh yeah, the house. It's nice! Private bathroom was very clean, and the bedroom was nice and spacious. The best - Todd admitted - isn't the biggest we've stayed in. Absolutely fine for us, but if you're two larger people it might be a squeeze. As mentioned though, he was happy to offer us a whole extra room! Todd's pool is amazing too. It's massive, clean, and just the right temperature after a long day in the sun in downtown DC. Downtown DC is probably the only issue with the property. It's quite a way out. Probably took us close to an hour to get in. There's a bus stop right behind the house that will take you to Prince George's Plaza to catch a subway into DC. It costs around four dollars each way, so bear in mind that for two people you could get a place a bit closer and have around sixteen dollars extra to spend each day. If you can find a place for that little extra, closer to the National Mall, well done! I guarantee you won't get as good a host. Thanks again for having us, Todd!

My brother and I stayed with Todd for a long weekend while visiting friends in DC. Through out the entire process, Todd went out of his way to make sure our trip would be an enjoyable one. He made us feel welcomed picking up snacks we like, and engaging in conversation while we were there. His home fit his description of being clean and cozy with easy access to parks, good food and the metro station. Todd enhanced our stay by giving us recommendations of bike/walking paths in the area. Overall, it was a great experience.

Todd made his home welcoming and warm from the minute we began messaging after my stay was confirmed. He went out of his way with genuine class and heart to make sure my stay was pleasant and I had all I needed. I truly felt safe and at home in his space and would recommend not only his space, but his presence! The pool was pristine and his cats are friendly and sweet - icing on the wonderful experience.
