About this listing
This bright 40 m2 apartment is located on the second floor of a 1920s building and comprises living room with kitchenette, bathroom with separate WC area, bedroom and dressing room. It is located in the heart of a quiet residential neighborhood in the 13th arrondissement.
A hallway welcomes guests to the apartment. Upon entering, on the right, there is a room with toilet and window, while on the left there is a large walk-in closet. The living room includes a queen-size sleeper sofa (4,5 ft wide), low coffee table and table that comfortably accommodates 4. The kitchen is located at the end of the living room; it is modern and well equipped. The window on the side overlooks an internal area and the entire apartment features wooden floors.
The bathroom includes a sink and large shower. Next to the bathroom is a quiet master bedroom (with bed measuring approximately 5,2 ft in width), complete with two bedside tables, built-in wardrobe covering an entire wall, and wooden shelving.
The 13th arrondissement is a quiet, elegant and rather large area of Paris, off the beaten path, though not lacking sites of cultural interest and noteworthy character. The most significant attractions of this area, especially for contemporary architecture lovers, are the François Mitterand National Library and the entire Left Bank district, an ambitious urban project designed by Christian de Portzamparc and Norman Foster, among others, which include a variety of contemporary buildings for commercial and administrative use.
Those who love a more traditional Paris can visit the Manifacture des Gobelins, a wonderful eighteenth century building commissioned by King Henry IV for the production of tapestries and carpets, as well as the Butte aux Cailles, a delightful hill where once stood wind mills wind, replaced today by villas, picturesque sights, bars and restaurants where visitors can relax after a day in the chaotic capital. Under the Butte, on Boulevard Blanqui, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays is held one of the city’s largest food markets in the city, selling products at affordable rates.
The closest parking garage is the Garage de l’Essai, 440 yd away, on Rue Essai.
The closest metro stops are either CAMPO FORMIO (line 5) or LES GOBELINS (line 7).
