Our place is a family home and we welcome people to come and go. The space

PLEASE READ ABOUT OUR ROUTINE :We are a working couple who offer our home as a base for people to enjoy the beautiful Mudgee region. We offer a private room with queen bed. There are two rooms and each room is the price as listed - each room takes a couple. We welcome friendly people who want to explore the Mudgee Region and all its beauty.

Mudgee is a wine-growing and agricultural area as well as a small town with beautiful buildings and alfresco eating in many areas of the streets. There are boutique cellar doors and plenty of restaurants open in the area as well. We can drive you to a local place if our schedule allows if you wish to have a few wines at a cellar door.

We are a working couple and sometimes are up early in the morning to go to work. This would be about 6 am if at all .We are not excessively noisy however would like people to know this.
We are 6 to 10 mins out of town by car from Mudgee and 15 mins from Gulgong an historical mining town. Dubbo is 1.5 hrs away with a world famous zoo.

The accomodation is in a private room with bathroom and toilet down the hall which would be shared with other guest if there are any at the same time. Electric blankets on every bed as it can get cold here in Mudgee in winter.
The accomodation includes continental breakfast that you would make yourself. You are welcome to make tea and coffee whenever you like .You are welcome to have homemade scrambled eggs for breakfast if you want to cook it for yourself - the eggs are fresh from the nest!!

We hope you like our house and our sheep, pony, chooks and chattering birds - we love our home and think it is a great alternative to pokey motel accomodation.

VERY IMPORTANTLY we love the 4 dogs who live here and they do come inside from time to time so please only book if you enjoy the company of dogs and sheep in the paddocks bleating etc.

We have WiFi and there is plenty of parking in the house yard There is a cattle grid as you drive into the 25 acres due to animals grazing near a main road then the house is at the end of a 400 metre drive on gravel road.

Perfect little country getaway spot. It's only 10 mins from Mudgee town, and enjoys acres of gorgeous views. Janelle was so welcoming from the moment we arrived, giving us all the local knowledge and letting us visit her animals - sheep, chooks, ponies, ducks and even an alpaca. There are four lovely dogs, too, all beautifully-natured. The room was clean and comfy, and the bathroom is just down the hall. Janelle gave us recommendations and very kindly drove us into town so we could have some local wine at dinner. We had an Italian meal at Isabella's - (great!) and Janelle even picked us up after. The next morning, we had scrambled eggs fresh from the nest. She was great company. For wineries - Small Winemakers and Peter Van Gent have lovely cellar doors. Farmers Daughter does complimentary cheese with the wine (the sparkling Granddaughter's grape is divine). Logan's has a spectacular deck overlooking their vineyard. Highly recommend if you need a bit of fresh air and R&R. Thanks Janelle and Craig!

Janelle was very attentive to our every whim and need, so generous with access to all her grandkids toys for my little girl, so friendly, can't say enough good stuff about this lady, you will have a blast staying with her. The farm is so peaceful with 360 degree views :)

Hoping you and Sadie arrived back in Melbourne safe and sound. Still hot here but all good. 1 day to go for Seth until he starts school - He's really excited.

We only stayed one night while passing through the area. Janelle was an excellent host who made us feel welcome and also had a great set up for our dog.

Janelle and Craig were lovely, very welcoming and happy to have a chat about the area and answer any of our questions. Janelle even went out of her way to drive us into town for our wine tour. Their house is nice and close to the town and vineyards, and their two dogs are lovely. Thank you again for having us!

Great short stay! We could not have been made to feel more welcome, nor more at home, than by Janelle and Craig, and their 2 super-friendly dogs, Bailey and ? (whoops, we forgot already - sorry!). We chatted, laughed and ate for hours, and even learned something of our family history in the Mudgee area - not all good news, it seems! Everything about the only night we stayed with them was superb. We hope to return in the not too distant future - but for longer than just 1 night! Thank you for a wonderful time.

We had one of the best experience staying with Janelle and Craig. It was a pleasure to know you both and Bett, Chloe and Bailey and all other animals. The house is neat and clean and so is the bathroom. Thank you so much for being wonderful hosts . We will surely come back to stay and yours when we visit Mudgee next time :)

We are wanting to explore the world a bit and think it is great that we can also share our home with others which will assist us to achieve that goal as well. I am a nurse working in a public hospital in Australia and my husband Craig owns and runs a small flying school-training pilots in country NSW, Australia. Our 4 dogs live here as well and often are in the house.
