Lately the little studio has been a sweet, safe, chill and often transitory space for people and sometimes their fur babies. We live in the main house which is detached from the studio which is surrounded by trees and mostly native plants. Feel free to inquire for more specifics; communication is always a good approach. We celebrate kindness when at all possible.

The space
It's a friendly, colorful, artistic, warm, well kept space that was constructed in 2019. This is a studio with a private bathroom, kitchen and entrance. It sits behind a gated wall where you can come and go freely.

Street parking is open and not permitted or metered so makes parking easy. Guests park in front of the house or a neighbors’ house on a busy day. The immediate arts district is safe, diverse and growing cooler and cooler by the day. We love it and can provide detailed recommendations on where to hang out and especially where to eat. Since there are tons of theatres and dance studios in the surrounding area, our guests are often artists. We can walk to the super market and to In and Out which are a few blocks away. The NoHo Art area is a 15 minute walk (1 mile) or short car ride which has a number of cool bars, restaurants, coffee shops. That makes the subway a 15 minute walk from the house as well and from this stop you can go to Universal, Hollywood in under 10 minutes. The new Trader Joe’s in a mile away heading West. Downtown LA is 25 minutes via the subway. The Burbank Airport is a mile or so from the house. If you can fly through Burbank and avoid LAX, do that. Many guests just uber these days and don’t rent a car.

The front gate is the main entrance to the lot so it’s always nice when we cross paths and have a chance to say hi. At the same time, it’s a quiet environment and neighborhood so not hard to be a hermit either.
