As a medical student, it's hard to find quality housing at the hospital's I'm externing at while there for the month, and Vernon's place is a great value. Everything was exactly as described, and he and his roommate Jude were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again, thank you Vernon!

Vernon is such a hospitable host and made me feel welcome immediately. As a medical student traveling all alone, ensured that I knew where to go for all the essentials as well as recommendations for some fun in the city. Definitely recommend him!

Everything was fine. Vernon and his roommate are both lovely. They were like we knew each other for years. When I couldn't find something in the store I asked Jude if he could buy it for me and when he got home he had it. Vernon did just the same thing. I brought my bike with me and they let me to keep it in my room ( but I kept my bike clean just in case.. ) I really enjoyed the place. It had everything I needed. So I just miss the place. If I'll go back to NYC I'll definitly book this room again. You can cook or bake. The neighbours are also nice. There are some stores 2 mins from the house. It's close to the subway and to the New York Botanical Garden which was one of my favourite attractions. I visited this one on foot. And after my staying Vernon just took me to the airport. So if you're watching this right now I tell you that you must choose this one!

Vernon and his place was great. I was there for a month and found fun locally and as well as two metro stops with in a 5 min walk. Vernon was very welcoming and fun to be around. He answered all my questions and did whatever he could to help. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Vernon met me outside on the first day to greet me, the room was simple but clean, wifi and clean towels were provided. Vernon was a great host, he was helpful, provided me with local directions for transit for work. Would recommend him for others interested in staying at the Bronx.
