About this listing
This Studio apt. is cozy and comfortable and the community is quaint with a coffee shop around the corner and a karaoke bar just across the way. We are located in NE Nashville, just 20 minutes from the heart of downtown. In this area you will find fishing, boating, a beach, a waterpark, golfing, shopping malls and flea markets. Bring a small fishing boat if you like ... we have room. A quiet place to come home to after a day or evening of adventure in spectacular Nashville, TN.
The studio apartment is quite comfortable and fully stocked with every thing for those who prefer to eat in. it offers a pleasant decor, lots of fluffy towels and a flat screen tv. This location has a small porch with table and chairs to enjoy your meal outside or if you just want to take a minute and smoke . You will also have your own private driveway to the left of your entrance. The neighborhood is undergoing some growth at the moment but
The house itself is attached to a stone fronted Historical Bldg in the Village of Old Hickory. You will park to the left of the small porch located at the right side of the building. You will enter through the door marked "B". The key lock box is directly across from the door. I will provide you with the combination the day of your arrival.
Interaction with guests
We are not located at the same property as our guests, but we will be as far away as the phone if needed.
The village of Old Hickory is undergoing some growth right now, some some new construction will be noticeable. Where you are located the main attraction (especially for summertime) is Old Hickory Lake. We have a wonderful restaurant at the Marina and you can rent a boat and fish if you wish. There is also a great little beach park nearby. In addition two of my favorite Flea Markets are minutes away. With a 10 minute ride you will find three very nice golf courses and the home of President Andrew Jackson. 15 minutes down the road is the famous Nashville Shores Water Park on Percy Priest Lake.
Downtown Nashville is an easy 20 minute ride away. There is much to see and do downtown and I would suggest renting an Uber or Lyft for the day. That way you can enjoy visiting the many Honky Tonks and listen to some great Nashville Music without worrying about the drive home.
No smoking or pets in either unit.

Hi, we are retired and living in Nashville, TN. My partner and I live in a little cabin on the Stones River in Nashville. Our Airbnb is in a historic building in a neighboring village near Old Hickory Lake. We love the water and nature and all things "real". Our style is very relaxed and comfortable ... a little eclectic, and fun. We are new to hosting for Airbnb and are hoping to learn from our guests how we can make our location one that you will want to come back to time and again.
