Very nice place. Beautiful wood interior. Had everything including coffee maker to pots and pans, bbq grill, towels, outside fire-pit and more. Quiet location 40 min from lake placid and close to beautiful hiking trails. Patrick was very easy to deal with and quick with communication. We had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

The house has three floors. You walk in on the bottom and there is a nice living room, big bathroom and two bedrooms. The main floor has a great kitchen and open floor plan with plenty of informal and formal eating, lounging and play space. The upstairs is two bedrooms with a nice bathroom. The decor is absolutely adorable and we had everything we needed; sheets, towels, dishware and pots/pans. The location is super convenient. We went to the Wild and little loggers playground. There were a ton of restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, etc. All in all, we loved the area for a getaway. The hosts were wonderful. Our best experience so far. Excellent communicators and lovely hosts. Definitely check it out-you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time using Airbnb and I can tell you that Patrick was a gracious and accommodating host. When we first arrived for our stay we noticed a small issue, which was out of Particks control mind you but none the less he made himself completely accessible and resolved our concerns within the day. If I ever visit the area again his listings will be the first I check for availability due to his professionalism and genuine concern for his properties. As for the house itself, it is beautifully decorated and was very clean upon us arriving. The scenery and access to activities in the area are plentiful. The wild center was a blast, we boated Sarnac Lake, visited Ausible Chasm ( a must if you are in the area), and hit lake placid (beautiful town). The only complain myself and my family had was that would couldn't stay longer to explore more of the Adirondacks. This place was a 5 out of 5 for us.

We enjoyed a perfect stay in Patrick's beautiful woods home, which felt at times to us like we were in a modern treehouse! The three story and open layout of the home, with its 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, meant that my family (including 6 adults and 2 young children! ) could comfortably stay together for 4 nights. The home was well stocked with linens and was very clean, with free WiFi a plus. We were in easy driving distance from the Wild Center and downtown Tupper Lake, not to mention the many beautiful hiking trails and lakes in the area. Highly recommend!!

Eagles' Lair is a beautiful home - full of Adirondack woods details that make it very special! Quiet and private as well! Bedrooms are on the first and third floors; beautiful great room, dining and kitchen spaces are on the second main floor. We love the Adirondacks and found Eagles' Lair convenient for hiking, canoeing, swimming off our own dock. It's a 40 minute drive to Lake Placid which we visited on a rainy day - always a fun excursion - but I think we all favored our beautiful Tupper home and surroundings. The town of Tupper has a good food market, hardware store, and comfortable testaurants. If weather doesn't cooperate the Wild Center in Tupper and Adirondack museum, formerly blue Mountain Lake Museum, are great visits for all ages.

Patrick is a very gracious host. He is extremely friendly and responsive. Patrick's home is beautiful, was clean, and in a wonderful excluded private location. If you have small children (under 4), seniors, or anyone with knee/hip/back issues this may not be the best home for you. There are a lot of stairs. When you walk in ground level, you have to go up a set of stairs (with no railings) to get to the main level and kitchen. You can't carry in all your groceries and supplies without going up a flight of stairs. The stairs to top level bedrooms are awkward and open, not ideal for guests who aren't sure footed. This house is absolutely beautiful, stocked with all the key necessities, ADK decor (top to bottom), and is wonderful for entertaining a big family. I would rent this house again in heartbeat.

The home was exactly what we were looking for. Close proximity to the lake, large family and dining room space, it was a great place to relax and laugh with close friends and family. Patrick was extremely responsive and provided lots of helpful suggestions on activities for our family during our trip. We will definitely look to stay here again during our visit to Tupper Lake.

Patrick has lived and grown up in the Hudson Valley. He loves the outdoors and enjoys travel. He loves music from the 80's and Classic Country......... which his family members laugh at.
