Owners live in their seperate home on property.
The space
The property is located on a rocky bluff off a small peninsula just outside the shores of Pender Harbour. The guest building is designed to accommodate a secondary garage for the owners at grade level and a 650 sq ft. suite is built partially below. It is oriented away from the owners home to allow for complete privacy of the guests. The hot tub and bbq area is for the exclusive use of the guests. A northwest orientation will have you enjoying afternoon sun and amazing sunsets overlooking Malaspina Srait.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of property immediate to the building they occupy. The lower stair assembly to where a dock once existed is inaccessible at this time. Also access to the bluff west of the hot tub deck is off limits and dangerous.
The owner prefers the wood stairs to the east be used by the guests.
The out buildings and main house property is private
Parking is in front of the single garage door beside the portico.
Other things to note
Be aware BC Ferries get very busy on weekends and throughout the summer season. Consider making a reservation and make the most of the journey here. With a reservation from Horseshoe Bay, a minimum time to allow for travel for the journey to this destination is a minimum of 3 hrs at best.
With a reservation: we recommend 40 minimum wait in advance of sailing, 40 min sailing , 1 hour drive north up the coast with a little wiggle room.

Walk the "Fran Pen Loop". 1 hour, which takes you around the neighbourhood of the end of Francis Peninsula Road with peekaboo views of the waterfront through properties outside and inside the harbour.
Ask Nancy about the local walk to Francis Peninsula Park or fgo yourself and park at the Trail head at the end of Merril Road.
