Come visit in summer. Our farmstead is two hour drive to Acadia National Park. You’ll love staying with us to be around farm animals. Plentiful bird song in the morning, frogs chorus at night, Nature up close, a wide porch for visiting and watching the neighbor Amish buggies go by. We welcome couples, and singles or group up to four.

The space

Farmhouse bedrooms on second floor overlooking pasture and woodsy hills. Shared bathroom with shower and tub. Share kitchen with our tenant(s) and plenty of outdoor spaces with deck or covered porch. Unity College students arrive in August to live in our Farmhouse.

Guest access

Kitchen, living area in addition to visiting farm animals outside or in the barn.

Interaction with guests

Usually one of us is around the farm to help with directions or trip planning.

Other things to note

If you like the feel of an Amish community, visit their store only 2 miles away. It's a General Store with hardware and household essentials. They also sell Amish made cheeses and jams, baked goods. There is a renowned "Charcuterie" for home cured meats as well. And the Unity Bike Shop is not far.

Annie and Kenneth were gracious hosts; they welcomed us warmly into their home. The farm environment was a fun and eye opening experience, it was a peaceful quiet setting. I would definitely stay there again!

We are from Unity Maine. I love to garden and be outdoors. I especially love to observe the changes in the woods as the seasons change.
