Interaction with guests

I live upstairs and will be available if you need anything. I use airbnb myself and appreciate being able to get answers on request when needed, and am happy to do this for my guests. I will provide you with a guide and information about the neighbourhood.

The apartment has a private entrance - if you're looking for total privacy, you can have that too!

The neighbourhood

Walking distance to Queen St W, Dundas St. W and Little Italy. Great art, cafes, restaurants, shopping and people watching. In its September 2014 issue, Vogue Magazine named Toronto’s trendy West Queen West area the second coolest neighbourhood in the world.

Vogue said it has all the “hallmarks of hipness … a verifiable artery of indie patisseries, homegrown labels and hidden-from-view galleries.” The magazine mentions The Drake and the Gladstone hotels, as well as Soho House and Grafitti Alley.

Getting around

2 minute walk to Dundas or College streetcars.
5 minute walk to subway.
30 minutes by streetcar to main arteries (University, Yonge St)

Other things to note

You have full use of the backyard with patio chairs and table.
There is a hair dryer in the apartment.
There is an laundromat just around the corner.
You can buy online a temporary parking permit for street parking by day or week - check out City of Toronto parking permits.

Hi, I've lived and worked in Toronto for most of my adult life. Great City! I have studied engineering and fine art and have mainly worked in the education and non-profit sector. When not working, my favorite activities are painting, drawing, hiking, reading, yoga and sampling Toronto restaurants with friends.
When I travel, I try to take in as many art galleries and museums as possible. When not gallery hopping, I'm probably deep in the woods enjoying a long hike.
I love being a guest and a host through airbnb. Great way to meet exceptional people!
