Hello! I am the owner of the old house "Qiyeyanxiang", and my name is Xiangdong Fan. In the past decades, I used to be an art teacher in primary school. Three years ago, I escaped from the crowded city to the beautiful countryside Wuyuan. Here I met the 200-year-old historical Anhui style house "Qiyeyanxiang", and I decided to make it home. I have no background in architecture but I tried my best and spent almost three years in designing, repairing, rebuilding, and redecorating the old house. And here it is:) I am really proud of myself. I love all kinds of arts, and I am good at calligraphy. I also like drinking good wines and share it with friends. I really like my current life here and I like to talk to different people and would like to share my country home with anyone who would like to experience the old house and the countrylife. Tips for foreign friends:You might not believe that I was English major when I was in college, so even though I don't use English for a long time, I am still okay with daily English. If you have problem in understanding my English, I can ask my daughter to help, she is very fluent.
