This really is a secret retreat, with incredible views and a wonderful atmosphere. The house has everything you need for a perfect escape in one of the most beautiful parts of Switzerland.

It's secluded, but that's also the beautiful part of it. The house and surrounding area is very cosy, although a bit of an adventure if you drive a car there. It's well worth the trip though for the amazing views of the valley. We found the host could work on his communication skills, but he's very friendly in person.

Nick's place was exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Stechelberg. We got upgraded to the studio which was a great surprise and were greeted by Nick's kind mother on arrival. The house is situated in a beautiful area surrounded by forest and a river that runs right beside the farm, and we could even get fresh drinking water that flowed right from the mountains on site. The various walks/hikes available in Stechelberg were right on your door step, not to mention the many waterfalls that surrounded the valley. The home itself also had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay that felt homely. We would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend it enough for a true Swiss experience.

If you want a remote 'mountain shack' style place to stay but with the comforts of home then this is the place! Just getting to and from the property is an adventure, especially if you arrive in the middle of a rain storm. The property is located up a winding gravel track and near to some absolutely stunning mountain scenery. Nick is a lovely person to deal with and made us feel very welcome. We only stayed for one night but had the chance to have a good explore of the local area. The walk up to the waterfall is well worth the effort. The room we were in was basic but had everything you need. It did feel slightly damp in there though, but then we did arrive in torrential rain. There are cooking facilities but you must take everything you need with you in the way of food. If you like the mountain life then you should definitely stay here. Nick and his Family are living my dream lifestyle here....I'm very jealous!

Firstly thank you Nick, William, Alex and Axwell for hosting us at their beautiful cottage. We were booked in the private studio cottage, which had everything required for our short 3 day stay. The cottage and its location is OMG! Just beautiful and breath-taking. We enjoyed every bit of our stay from check-in to check-out. The 4 guys looked after us very well and were very communicative. On our day of arrival, the weather changed from 15 to -6, which got in the snow, and made our drive a little complicated, but we finally got there. The cottage is around 35mins away from the Interlaken City Centre, but a beautiful drive both ways. We would recommended to buy your basic groceries, as you are tucked away in the mountains. The farm is so beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, We will be back again soon, and also recommend this place to others.
