Judy is a perfect host. This is an authentic rustic 1800's cabin. It's a step back in time. Beautiful location, charming decorations, comfortable, quiet. We napped in the hammocks, went to the ARK Encounter, had serious "down time". The Milky Way was visible. It was my first time to see it. We would love to return again.

This is a wonderful opportunity to step back in time and have a bit of the experience from the past. We loved our stay there and enjoyed our visits with Judy very much. She is a wonderful host and very personable. We would definitely want to stay there in the future if we get the opportunity. I will be recommending her cabin to my friends and family. No TV or wifi, so take some board games, coloring books, puzzles, etc. for the evenings if you have children with you. There is definitely outside exploring, playing in the creek, etc. for the daytime hours and if weather is nice. A++ experience in every way!

great place to stay if you want to have feel of life living in a rustic cabin but have the comforts of modern life as well. Its reasonably close to the Ark Encounter which we were there to see. On its own the cabin would be a nice hideaway from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

The cabin is a quaint place to spend time with your loved ones. We loved walking in to the smell of candles burning. The first impression was memorable. Just had snacks and drinks available for when we arrived after our long day. The loft bedroom was cozy. The whole cabin atmosphere was romantic. It is rustic, but has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We are already planning a trip back.

We were looking for an authentic cabin to experience and we found a great one. Judy is a wonderful host and we would recommend the cabin to those looking for a fun experience and a quiet time out in the country. The added bath house was done to keep things as original as possible. Enjoy history.

Hello, I'm a retired senior who has many likes and hobbies. I love nature and everything under that heading. I have wild plant workshops, teaching others about the plants that God gave us to heal ourselves or for food and crafts. I make handmade soaps, baskets. I also repurpose furniture, sell vintage and antique items. If i travel, i like historic places, or anywhere near an ocean. My life's motto is: The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. So be happy with what you have, it's not always so great in someone else's shoes.
