The space

This unique, private lower unit in a historic Avalon duplex offers tons of natural light and a semi-open plan.

The main area adjoins a dining room, family room with fireplace, and cozy indoor sitting patio (which functions great as a workspace, game room, or just a place to have coffee and enjoy the sun). During the day, it's bright and airy, just a block from the beach and restaurants; at night it's homey and warm, and a great place to entertain and relax with family and friends during any season.

A fully equipped kitchen (4-burner gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc) provides ample space for cooking your own meals.

A small outdoor enclosed back patio area has washer/dryer and secure storage/hanging area for all your beach items.

Guest access

You will have full exclusive access to the private lower unit of the duplex. Entry is by lockbox, and host will send all codes & instructions day of check-in.

Interaction with guests

Host is available through Airbnb (messaging or phone) for questions or concerns. A comprehensive guidebook is provided during your stay with local listings, recommendations, etc.

We do maintain emergency contacts on the island as well as maintenance & cleaning crews should any major issues arise during your stay.

Great location for beaches, restaurants, and center of town. Clean and spacious 3 bedroom unit on the bottom floor. Can easily walk to unit from the ferry. Brian was a great host and we appreciate how easy he made things.

The host (Brian) was so quick to get back to all my questions and concerns. The house was great! Quite roomy and spacious. We had a blast on the island and being able to save some money and cook breakfast and dinner really made it affordable. We would definitely stay here again!
