The accommodation is what is says. Basic but a very good location. Rooms are old and small but the accommodation was available last minute and convenient for travelling around

Very basic, as mentioned, but all you need for a reasonable price. anything you need is in walking distance; JR train station/metro, vending machines, combini, places to eat. Shampoo, body wash, towel provided but don't rely on it.

The place is exactly as is advertises, the bare minimum in a central and amazing location for a great price. I would just say, to people who might be nervous that their hostel room door is the only lock between them and the world (as the main door to the hostel room cluster is often left open/unlocked/unattended) you may want to find another space. If that doesn't bother you, I'd definitely recommend.

Super budget. If you're ok with college dorm style (noises through the walls, floors that are covered in cabinet panels loosely screwed together, people knocking on your door at 11am if you've decided to sleep in asking that you be sure to turn off the AC when you leave (in fairness they thought we had left but I don't know how they came to that conclusion? Cameras?). In any case, there are a good number of hotels in that area. If you're looking for a pretty decent stay in Tokyo, I'd recommend another, nicer hole in the wall.

Room was exactly as described. Directions given by host were easily understood. Went in mid may to end of may so didnt really need to use much electricity (bit of lights and fan). Its a self-serve hostel that is in a good location near a supermarket (cheaper than conbini usually, tho many conbini nearby) and a short walk to subway. Host was quick and responsive to talk to when needed. Not much else to say as it met what I needed to visit many areas of tokyo.
