The Villa
Build by the blue blooded family of the Vaccari in the mid 18th century, the Villa is situated by the coast of the natural reserve of the suggestive Stagnone di Marsala. The cerulean horizon turns pink by the sunset and in the summer the Egadi island look so close you could almost touch them!

The Villa’s outdoor spaces, extended for over 5000 m², comprehends a garden by the sea, an Italian pineta, an internal courtyard (ideal for quiet lunches and dinners) and an historic garden featuring a double row of columns, a little fountain, Sicilian trees and vegetation, an old rainwater tank turned pool and a round Coffe House.
The Space
The Villa is divided into three floors. The ground floor features a big kitchen, a living room by the sea, plus an independent area with two double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and a big cloakroom with two showers.
The first floor, or mezzanine, has a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, plus another double bedroom in between.
One floor up, on the noble floor, you’ll find a studio with a balcony, its view over the sea, a big bedroom with two queen size beds, a very wide living room looking towards the panorama, a double bedroom, a restroom leading to a private balcony. The floor has one bathroom with shower.
The Area
The area is of the greatest archeological interest. Its main gem is the fenician island of Mothia, easy to reach in few minutes by boat or canoe. The area also features the greek temples of Segesta and Selinunte, the medieval town of Erice, the above mentioned Egadi island: Favignana, Levanzo e Marettimo. Marsala itself, famous the world over for its wine, is only ten minutes by car and is twenty for Trapany, the city of corals.
Other things to note
The pine forest and space in front of the house are for exclusive use
The historic garden is behind it, quiet and ancient and at certain times of the year it can be shared.
The irrigation tank used as a small swimming pool is accessible in the summer months and on request.
From 21.05.2014 the Municipality of Marsala has established the Residence Tax by resolution no. 60/2014 of the City Council. The tax applies to the overnight stays of non-residents only in the Municipality of Marsala and for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. The tax is 1.00 Euro per adult. Minors under the age of 14 don't pay.
The tax, which is not included in the price of the apartment, will be collected in cash upon arrival of guests.
It should also be noted that the owner of the apartment has the obligation to communicate the personal data of each guest within 24 hours of arrival of the same. Therefore, please provide us with the following information: surname and first name;
date and place of birth;
address of residence; identity document including number and date of issue.
Starting from the 21th of May 2014 the Municipality of Marsala has established the Stay Tax with City Council resolution n. 60/2014. The tax is applied to the overnight stays of non resident in the Municipality of Marsala for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights and amounts to 1,00 Euro per person per night. Children under 14 do not pay.
We also inform you that the owner of the flat has to communicate the personal data of every guest within 24 hours from his arrival.
