Beautiful little place in the heart of Arles. Loved to look at all the art and objects!

Highly recommended. Mark has a lovely place in a very central location in Arles. He's also a 'proper host' who really makes you feel welcome. This is very much staying at someone's house, not a old fashioned bnb experience. I very much enjoyed the dinners shared on the terrace. Would definitely go back.

Mark's place is a lovely little hidden spot in a less busy are of town. If you like it quirky, cosy and intimate, this is a perfect spot to discover Arles. Mark is a lovely host who makes you feel comfortable without being overly in your face. Would recommend.

Mark was a very friendly and kind host. The house location and decor is amazing. We had breakfast in the sunny rooftop surrounded by plants in a beautiful atmosphere. I will definitely come back next time in Arles!

We stayed in Mark's apartment for one night and what an apartment! Everything was fantastic. Supernice bedroom, bathroom and roof-terrace. The apartment really is located in the heart of Arles and our stay at Mark's place made the whole trip to Arles so much better. Would definitaly stay there again.

I am originally from Manchester. I continue to embrace northern attitudes of generosity, warmth and being grounded.
At some point frustrated at playing with shadows converted from an Anglican to Catholicism. Not content to live as a single gay man took another step and became a Benedictine monk at Downside Abbey (phone number hidden)).
Having 'jumped over the wall', arrived in London and trained as a Secondary School teacher focusing on RE and Philosophy. For the last 14 years taught locally in Hackney known as one of the most deprived boroughs in England. However, it was conscious decision to remain in that environment rather than the safe, cosy and privileged world of Downside. I hoped to inspire students to think outside the box in spite of the some who thought it a bad idea. I taught the good, gangsters, the murdered and the murderers. Having taught for 24 years took early retirement summer 2015.
I'm now looking to travel, and find my third incarnation in a creative way. Today live in a way which is reflective and edge forward trying to live a genuine life knitted together with a vision which is spiritual, grounded and creative.
I know live in Arles and looking forward to the next stage of my journey . Looking to see how it is possible to make the world a better place. ( ideas already in process).
