The space

The village consists of four Trulli with swimming pool, stretching between two hills dotted with olive and fruit trees, on the verge of "Bosco Selva": an oak forest (particularly rare in this area), covering 45 acres and full of guided tours for trekking and mountain biking.
The entire inhabited rocky lands, since the eighteenth century was the residence of four peasant families, today it is an example of respectful restoration and maintenance of the landscape. Each trullo hosts up to four people and the entire facility has a capacity of 15 beds.

Each trullo is equipped with all modern comforts, in order to experience the holiday in complete and autonomous relaxation. The interior consists of original-domed alcoves with double beds, a bathroom and a living room equipped with kitchenette (including pots, plates, dishes and even our own homemade oil). Also included is a refrigerator, electric oven, all necessary accessories for the kitchen, plasma TV and heaters for the winter.

Guests can enjoy the summer by taking a dip in the pool amongst almond trees and laurels, dining freely under the gazebo right in front of their trullo. And if they want to slowly explore the territory, free bicycles are available. Also, the amplitude of the landscape around the village will give way for the enjoyment of children and families for long walks along the paths/trails, with the possibility of friendly encounters with donkeys, horses, sheep and other domestic animals.

Trulli del bosco is also a place for holidays aimed at slow tourism, eco-friendly and healthy. For this reason we offer our bicycles free of charge, we organize organic and homemade cooking courses and we also plan guided tours on foot or by bicycle.
For this reason we organize:
- Guided tours of the "Masseria" to learn about its history, its animals and its cheese production.
- Bicycle tours amidst unknown corners of the country and villages of Valle D'Itria.
- Lectures on the cultivation and care of the garden, for a healthy contact with the earth.
- Lecture on the recognition of herbs and their various uses in the kitchen.
- Lessons of traditional cuisine, learning to make orecchiette pasta, meatballs, focaccia and much more.
- Walks / or by bicycle in the countryside with a lecture on the history of the landscape, on the recognition of the local fauna and flora.

Andrea and his family were amazing hosts. The setting is beautiful and peaceful but not far from town (you can cycle, drive or walk). You have to try his grandmas cooking one night which is great value and delicious. The rooms are lovely and clean and have everything you need to prepare your own food and feel comfortable away from home. The pool is never over crowded in fact we had it to ourselves sometimes. Alberbello is a lovely historic town with some inevitable touristy bits. Highly recommend a stay with Andrea !

A magical gem in the woods with charming hosts, great food, comfortable beds and affectionate pets. Thank you for such a wonderful two nights. Our family of four enjoyed the peace as well as our day trips to villages and the coast. Totally recommend!

While we didn't meet Andrea we had great communication with him before and after we'd booked. This location is a great place to stay, totally quiet and relaxing. We did book it for the swimming pool and it's certainly a great asset. We opted for breakfasts at the Trulli and also an evening meal cooked by Andrea's father, we had a great traditional meal. To sum up, there was nothing too much trouble for Andrea's father, Guiseppe. His philosophy is clearly to provide guests a great experience and to provide any assistance at all to ensure a great experience. Thank you Andrea and Guiseppe

We had a wonderful trulli vacation! The trulli was exactly as pictured, and they had already set up a baby bed for our daughter. We enjoyed exploring the land around the trulli, and bikes were available (though we didn't end up using them). Our daughter was excited to find a tricycle and other ride-on toys as well as board games. Breakfast each morning was very good, but the real treats were the dinners prepared by Giuseppe! I highly recommend trying his meals!

we had a great time at Andrea's place. He did everything to make us feel at home and welcome, communication ran smoothly. The trullo was cosy and comfortable. We appreciated the home made marmelade for breakfast and enjoyed the home made dinner twice - especially the one with the pasta with wild asperragus. thanks to the available bikes we had a great day cycling around (there are marked bike trails between Alberobello,Locorotondo and Martina Franca).

I'm Andrea. I speak english and french and I manage with my father Giuseppe, poet and writer, my mum Antonia, and my brother Alessandro: Trulli del bosco.... Everyone cares with love and in a different way in the curation of this place: welcoming guests, cultivating the garden, patiently tending to the plants, preserving the landscape of the countryside or preparing healthy foods and breakfasts fit for guests in the morning.
Since childhood, this site has had a unique charm for me, because it revealed to be a micro world of its own, made by: ancient and abandoned trulli, nature, silence and an enchanted forest.
Years ago the family decided to revive this small village, allowing people from around the world to discover the meridian life and rekindle it with their presence. The sincere effort they made was that of restoring this place with due anthropological awareness and sensitivity landscaping. Careful to balance the compromise between past and present, between antiquity and modernity. To revive the ancient architecture of the trulli, caring for those aging over time, adding services and facilities for the welfare of our holiday guests.

The village of the Trulli after years has returned to its former glory thanks to our care but above all, thanks to the presence of our guests from all over Europe and the world. They have given voice and listened to the most secret soul of this territory that recalls to the enjoyment of oneself and nature.
