No.2 Tiffyhall is close to great views, the beach, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood, the light, the comfy bed, the cosiness, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
No.2 Tiffyhall was previously a small barn on our small croft , which is one of the oldest in the parish and was part of a working farm once owned by the Earl of Zetland. The whole site fell into disrepair and stood empty for 50 years until it was fully renovated and extended in 2008 and has been transformed into a comfortable holiday cottage.
Guests have access to the whole cottage and its small garden access through the wooden gate by the parking area. Entry is from 3 pm and vacated by 10 am.
Guests can also walk around the 8 acres that form part of the Croft/Smallholding where they can enjoy watching the local wildlife on the 2 flight ponds that were created in October 2015 and the small plantation of trees planted early 2016
Interaction with guests
We live on the site therefore if you need any advice or would just like a chat then come and find us
Other things to note
A car is recommended as we are 12 miles from the main town of Orkney (Kirkwall) as the Cottage is in a rural parish
