The Studio House and farm, located in Gilmanton, are nestled in the mountains of the well known Lakes Region of central New Hampshire. Stone walls lined with blueberry bushes and organic flowers/vegetable gardens, the backdoor has access to miles of extensive mountain trails within the Belknap Range Conservation Area. A small lake is 2 miles away. Twenty mins in either direction takes you to Lake Winnipesaukee/Weirs Beach, Loudon Speedway, Wolfeboro and many other Lakes Region attractions.

The space
The Studio was built in the 1870s as a carriage house and subsequently converted into an art space in the 1940's for Stafford Good (contemporary artist of NC Wyeth). French doors separate the kitchen, 2 bedrooms and full bath from large "Artist Studio" room. A deck is located off the main bedroom with spectacular field and mountain views. Our farmhouse is across the driveway, yet completely private from the studio (no windows on that side of the Studio building). We have chickens that will provide you with fresh eggs upon arrival.
