We live, work and play in the area so would be more than happy to help you make the most of your time in Somerset.

The neighbourhood

"North Hill" is perfectly positioned in the Frome conservation area, close to the vibrant town centre. Frome is an historic market town with good road and rail access to Bath, Bristol and London, and which was voted no. 7 in the Sunday Times 2014 Top 30 Places To Live. There is a thriving arts scene with a wide variety of entertainment venues including a cinema and two theatres, along with an excellent range of independent shops, a monthly artisan market and the annual Frome Festival in July.

Getting around

We are a 30 second walk to the Bath bus route and about a 15 minute walk to the railway station. Bath is 13.5 miles to the north of Frome. The town centre of Frome and the river are a three minute walk away.

Only 4 miles away is Longleat and in 30 minutes by car, you can visit Stonehenge.

My first booking on Airbnb and I couldn't have booked a more perfect place. Tamara is a great host, attentive but not intrusive. We were given the 'snug' to use which connects to the bedroom all of which is in one wing of a fantastic house. The double bed and two single beds are great for a family of four without feeling like you are on top of one another. Breakfast was laid out for us in a great dining room, croissants, muesli, toast etc just enough to set us up for the day. If you are looking for a base to explore the area, then don't hesitate and book with Tamara.

Tamara and family provide a lovely, large space in their beautiful house overlooking Frome. It's a delightful place to stay and we really enjoyed having breakfast the next day. It's an easy walk into town too.

Perfect spot for a few days in Frome. 5 min walk into town, free parking and the best Welcome ever! Every little thing taken care of. Plenty of space for our family of four. Yummy breakfast in gorgeous grand dining room, yet relaxed enough to bring kids of any age. Tamara was a lovely host, she even bagged up and taped our forgotten toothbrush to windscreen while we were getting in some last minute retail therapy (fab nearby boho shops). Book it. Thank You Tam and Co.

Tamara was a wonderful host. Her house and its surroundings are absolutely stunning! My children and I were at the tail end of a hectic 2 week vacation and Tamara's accommodations were perfect for us to unwind and relax. Thank you!

We loved staying with Tamara and her family. Our accommodation was spacious, very well equipped and a perfect home away from home for our family. Tamara made us feel very welcome and provided a fabulous breakfast. I cannot recommend this highly enough for anyone staying in the Frome area.
